The federal university Ndufu Alike, Ikwo. just witnessed it first tarred road under the distinguished leadership of prof Chinedu Nwajiuba as the VC of the institution. The university is one of the youngest federal university in nigerian , it was established by Goodluck Jonathan regime in 2011. The first VC was prof ode ibidapo whose tenure ended in February 2016.
