Chelsea’s focus returns to the Champions League this week for what will be their toughest test in Group C.

Antonio Conte’s side travel to face Atletico Madrid on Wednesday, where they will likely see a familiar face albeit sat in the stands.

The Diego Costa transfer saga has overshadowed much of Chelsea’s build-up to this season’s campaign, but that appears to be nearing an end after the Blues agreed a deal with Atletico in midweek.



His presence will be the talking point pre-match, but as kick-off arrives on Wednesday, attention will soon turn to a battle between two serious contenders for the crown.
