Maria Ude Nwachi who is currently a legislator in Ebonyi state is a convicted felon in the United States.

2024 Reflections - In retrospect, I was unfairly hard and judgmental of the lady. Our society have become extremely debased under the leadership of APC and this lady is a saint compared to the current crop of leadership. Wherever she is, I hope she is thriving and doing well.

She is one of the most popular and WELL known politicians in the country based on what she has done for her people. She is the only opposition politician in Ebonyi state who won election under PPA.
