POLITICSHow Buhari squandered N15 trillion in just two years – PDP chieftain, Godwin OgorugbaPublished on September 25, 2017 By John Owen Nwachukwu

Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Isoko North Local Government Area, Delta State, Godwin Ogorugba, has alleged that the All Progressives Congress, APC-led Federal Government has already squandered N15 trillion in two years with no single road project completed.

Ogorugba said this when he spoke at Otor-Igho community shortly after the Chairman of Isoko council, Emmanuel Egbabor, declared his intention to vie for the position for a second term.

The Isoko North LGA boss said the country had been impoverished by the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.

According to him, “They have borrowed over N10 trillion, but the projects cannot be seen anywhere in the country. The money has been blown off systematically in the name of consultancy services.

“The former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, came up with so many road projects which can be seen everywhere. But today, APC government has not been unable to add a single kilometre of road to that.”

The Isoko LGA boss, Egbabor had earlier said that infrastructure development, quality health care, and youth empowerment will form the policy thrust of his administration if re-elected.
