Wao!

It cannot happen in the First Bank of this era.

They have standby separate system in the banking hall, direct email address and hotlines for customers complain.
Do you know they even send spy to come and monitor service qualities.
If a complaint is received about a staff hummm, be junior, be oga, they come invite you come their head office, I swear you not fit see draw.

At First Bank, some customers already know that rule and some will deliberately/stylishly abuse staff knowing fully well that them no born the staff well make him/her talk back.

First Bank fit greet die........
Security at the gate said welcome to first bank/have a nice day
Security at the door said welcome to first bank/have a nice day
Staff same thing
The door go come dey say her own repeatedly.

It true, I could remember a first bank staff using us to chat on his BlackBerry phone and the que was long, I had to shout at him before he could answer us, and that not his first time using people to browse, many complained about him as well.

Which branch?
Re: Bankers, Is This True? by FREDYA(m): 10:10am On Sep 27, 2017
Not true at all. No sane mind banker would be playing game while he/she is supposed to attend to custimers. Most Banks even disable games on all PCs especially for frontline staff.
Re: Bankers, Is This True? by Fistop: 10:11am On Sep 27, 2017
Very True. Especially if you are a Contract staff for many years in a bank and they don't covert you to full staff. yet, they recruit regularly without recourse to Contract staff.

It is true to a reasonable extent...
I've seen bank tellers chatting on facebook while they have a lot of people on que in front of them waiting to be attended to.
Some even play games just as depicted in the attached image above

So who installed Facebook on a bank's system? Or the person brought his own laptop to the cubicle? Or was he using Facebook on his phone? He will be using phone in cubicle a his supervisors will be looking at him? I don't understand, pls explain better

Firstly as a bank there is no game install on any of the bank system I mean no game no matter how small it is secondly u can not install any application on any bank system I repeat any application even calculator u can not install
Yeah u r right but this is just a comical representation of some dumb workers in on Nigerian system; it is not necessarily needed to be a bank or a banker, it is just a representation of a corporate setting in naija. There was a time I went to a bank, customer care to lodge a complain. It was a lady that was supposed to attend to me and she needed to pick a doc upstairs to finish up her job but for her condition, being pregnant, her colleague needed to help her pick up the doc. Fine, no problem with that. One way or the other, I found out that she was holding a phone, personal phone I guess, I was surprised to see her holding phone cos one of her colleagues has earlier told me that they don't allow them to receive calls while on duty when I requested for her number, cos of this, I got curious to know what she was doing on the phone and behold, she was playing candy crush. Coincidentally, she caught me peeping and she wanted to accuse me of intrusion but quickly remembered that she was wrong. Guess what she did immediately, she just smiled and I reciprocated the smile. But honestly, her condition (pregnancy) made me to mute beceuse she was also supposed to be relieving her colleague that relieved her, that one was having lot of peep waiting for her but I let it go because of her condition.

Lol. Who says? I installed a lot of applications when i was with the bank. I had a close in pal in IT and he used to share screen with me.

Yes, i watched a lot of Tv Series and i had enough time for Nairaland because i was working in a branch at Ikoyi. Market branch staff can never try that. Lailai!

Yeah like I say in my follow up post they might use the phone But on the system no way it can never happen game did not follow the window Enterprise use by bank and only IT username can install application on the system for all the banks it's same way and internet is only open from 6:pm by which time all customer must have left the bank
Think about it yourself if u are the CEO who needs customers will u allow ur staff to have things that will distract them on their work tools ?

Yes the guy in IT help u install app when u share screen via Lync or communicator however if anything ever happen through your system both the guy and you will go home for it
Nowadays all the banks have tighten their policy on using office system for personal use
