I served in Bauchi State STEYR NIG LTD and that was the best thing that can happen to anybody
I leaved like I was in Austria because the company was then managed by Australia Company

how much does the state pay?

Enugu is cool but don't go there for the extra handout from the state govt cause you would be extremely disappointed. The much of the fun life is in the metropolitan LGs (Enugu) and then some parts of Nsukka and Nkanu west where you'll find ESUT.

Living expenses is high in the aforementioned areas of the state while other areas of the state are mainly villages.

The people are very cool to live with and they accord respect to corp members who serve there. I enjoyed my time there.

There is no best state to serve.

Just hope for a good PPA, hopefully in a town where there is network.

Kwara is one of the quietest, peaceful states I've ever been to. Very calm, even in the capital. If you want 1 year of peace, cheap cost of living, decent weather, come to Kwara. You might be bored if you're used to Lagos or Ibadan, but Ilorin is chilled out. There's not much money, but people are really nice all over.

Served in kebbi.not the best though.
However I enjoyed my service year while it lasted. Im still in kebbi because of the bountiful opportunities.

Despite Adamawa being regarded as an insecure state, I have friends who didn't redeploy and they're really enjoying their stay over there

That a state pays 10k to corpers monthly does not mean it's better than states who don't pay
