House of rep has mandated house committee to proffer final solution to workers strike in Nigeria.
the other issue that should attract the attention of this honorable house is the state of strikes among the union of workers that engulf the country in recent weeks. one common denominator is that all the strikes were promised on matters over which the union have previously discoursed with the government and on which deliberations were either inconclusive or which resolutions reached were observed in bridge. on this note i wish to direct all house committees with oversight responsibility for the agencies involved in this negotiations to urgently take appropriate legislative steps to a full final and permanent resolution of the issues for the sake of industrial peace and harmony in the country said Dogara the speaker of the house.
