That Fashola belongs to the then opositon and as such, is duty bound not to sing Jonathan's praises DOES NOT make him a hater. That said, here's what I got from the very link you provided about the almighty Jonathan whom you assume, in your little mind, is without a fault.. Questions are: Why would it take so long to complete a bridge that is just over 2km long? What are they building the bridge with that it had to cost for much? Why did they fail on the target year of delivery? Is the failure also an act worthy of commendation? Lastly, what exactly is wrong with the present government completing the project? omenka: Please stop being economical with the truth ..Even though approval for the construction of the bridge came in 2011 , funding will not be made available till 2013 from the SURE P funds ..Sarrki tried to pass the bridge as an initiative of this govt so I put out facts to make sure history is not distorted on this board ..The bride is clearly even over priced at 15 billion per KM of span but Fashola even spent far more on his 1.35kms lekki Ikoyi cable stay bridge which is actually the most expensive bridge on earth pound for pound 2 Likes |

Someone posted an article where GeJ's minister said it will be finished Nov 2015. Guess who was President Nov 2015. So before we apportion credit, let's see how close to scheduled completion it was the change in administration.
