For the comment control, Instagram users can now control who can comment on their post. This new feature will help control spammers and also stop followers and who you follow (following) from making malicious comments, if you permit me to use such word, on your post. It is very easy to set this up. You can use your Instagram settings to do this.

Instagram Anonymous report for live video allows you to anonymously let the Instagram community to know who need help during a Live broadcast. After which, Instagram will post on the person's newsfeed (story). On the newsfeeds, the picture sharing social media will request the user who need help 'with options to talk to a helpline, reach out to a friend or get other tips and support. We have teams working 24 hours a day, seven days a week, around the world to respond.'

The #kindnesscomment is the hashtag used by a group of instagram artist. Instagram is now taking this hashtag seriously. So, you can join the group, if you're an artist. All you need to do is 'visit a wall, take a photo or video and share a #KindComment to make someone’s day.' Ensure that your photo or video tell a story.

The last time I heard from Instagram news, was when they added story features on mobile web. This means that with your mobile browser, for example Google Chrome, you can see instagram story. So, instead of using the app, you have the option to use your mobile web browser.

Also, "Instagram has added a new filter on its mobile app called 'weather-inspired face filters.'" Three new emojis on photo filter will help change the way your photo background looks. You can use happy sun, sad raincloud, an angry thunderstorm weather-inspired filters.
