I have searched all over Abuja for my computer hard drive HP 2530p. From Wuse to Bannex Plaza the story is the same. "This Hard Drive is very scarce you can only get it in Lagos."
I bought the laptop sometime in 2015 at Computer Village in Lagos and it had been a strong workhorse. It has a very strong battery and can perform wonderfully well.
Recently the Hard Drive became faulty and I need an urgent replacement. Please anyone, that is willing to sell new especially from Lagos should contact me.

I finally placed an order for it on eBay. Jejely waiting for its arrival.

Lol.. The hdd is very scarce an expensive, what they do now is convert it to use the normal hdd.

Which means u won't be able to use your cd rom again, there is a cd rom that have hdd extension in it, that what you will be using..


Some people don't like the idea but it worth it since the laptop hdd is scarce and even expensive.

Thanks, a seller briefly mentioned the idea, though not in detail. Generally, the hard drive is very scarce and expensive even though it offers little memory space.
And selling the laptop without its hard drive will be regrettable since it will probably be bought as scrap. Which is why I finally placed an order for 250GB hdd on eBay at $49.81.
Meanwhile a seller I contacted in Computer Village was going to sell the same hdd, probably 2nd hand, with 80gb memory at nearly $40.

So, I finally took delivery of my Hard Drive today. It took well over one month for it to reach Nigeria cos it almost got lost in transit. In fact, I almost regretted placing the order through eBay instead of the AliExpress that I am very familiar with.
The package came intact and well protected.
It was exactly as described. No addition or subtraction.
NIPOST also did a great job, they messaged me the moment the package arrived, although they now charge #200 before one can collect one's package.
All in All, a satisfied customer.
