He did say the Word and that Word is Jesus Christ who died to redeem mankind from sin. But you have to acknowledge that so as to be saved. Reason being that some folks don't want to be saved and will complain if they are saved without their consent. So, if they see the damnation ahead and chose not to run to salvation, then they will know they encouraged their own damnation.

Yes, God is all powerful and he could have done as you said, but power without love can be destructive.
So I beleive his plan was to teach us this great power but by first teaching us his love.

The most powerful offering of life is love.
God gave us his biggest love, (his only son) to show us how to love and trust him not just because of his great power, but because of this great love.

Loving God, we are able to share his love with everyone.

If we learn just his power, we would be destructive like the devil became because pride will creep in (the devil has no love, but alot of power) , but when we learn of the love of God, we would be humble nd creative and not destructive. This "LOVE" is the "true power" God wants us to have so that we may be like Him in Love and in power.

This is also why Jesus overcame death, because loves overcomes all things even death.

As we embrace the love of God thru his only son Jesus christ, we also will have the power to overcome death eventually by the same power of God through Jesus Christ.
