WHAT DRIVES YOUR LIFE
EVERYONE LIFE IS DRIVEN BY SOMETHING, most dictionaries define the verb drive as to guide, to direct to control whether you are driving a car, a nail or a golf ball, you are guiding, controlling and directing it at that moment, what is your driving force? There are hundreds of circumstances, values and emotions that can drive your life. Here are some of the most common factors or forces

GUILT
They spend their entire life running from regret and hiding shames they are manipulated by memories. They allow their past to control their future.
FEAR
Their fear might be from a tempest accident, unrealistic expectations, growing up in a high control homes regardless of the cause. Fear driven people often miss great opportunities because they are afraid to venture out, instead they play safe, avoiding risks and trying to maintain the status quo.
MATERIALISM
This drive to always want more is misconception that having more will make me happier, more important and more secure. But all these ideas are untrue. Possessions only provide temporary happiness, because things will not change, self worth and net worth are not the same. Your values are not determined by your valuables and God says the most valuable things in life are not things. 1john 2:15
NEED FOR APPROVAL
Don’t allow the expectation of parent, spouse or children or friends to control your life many are still trying earn the approval of unpleaseable unpleasing parent while others by peer pressure, always worried by what others might think. Unfortunately those who follow the crowd usually get lost in it. I don’t know all the keys to success but one key to failure is to try to please everyone. Roman 12:2
WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU HERE FOR? (1) Get Lost In Purpose: Knowing your purpose gives meaning to your life, when life has meaning, you can bear almost anything, without it, nothing is bearable, without God life has no purpose and without purpose life has no meaning and without meaning life have no significance or hope. Hope is essential to your life as air and water, we all need hope to cope. EPH 5:17, JOB 7:16
(2) IT SIMPLIFIES YOUR LIFE: Your purpose becomes the standard you use to evaluate what and which activities are essential and the one which is not. Without a clear purpose you have no foundation on which you base decisions, allocate your time and use of resources. You will tend to make choices base on circumstances, pressures and your mood at that moment. People who don’t know their purpose tends to do too much.
(3) IT FOCUSES YOUR LIFE: You become effective by being selective this helps and concentrates your efforts & energy on what’s important, without a clear purpose you will keep changing direction, jobs, relationships, churches etc, hoping each change will settle the confusion or fill the emptiness in your heart, but it does not solve the real problems, But lack of focus & purpose. PRO 13:7
FINAL THOUGHT
What most individual fail to remember or realize is that all achievements are eventually surpassed, records are broken, reputation fades and many tributes are forgotten, living to create an earthly legacy is a short – sighted goal. A wiser use of time is to build an eternal legacy, all individual are not put on earth to build just their life, be it carrier or make fun, to eat and to sleep but we are put here to prepare for eternity. ISH 26:3 2PETER 1:21
