... Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, on Monday said President Muhammadu Buhari has confirmed that he hates Igbos and Southerners. Fani-Kayode said this while reacting to Buhari’s Independence Day speech which some Nigerians have described as unpresidential and sectional. In a tweet on his social media, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chieftain described the speech as “shameful.”The former minister also revealed what he called “bitter truth” about the president. According to Fani-Kayode, Buhari does not only hate Igbos and Southerners, he also hates the middle belt and Christians.The tweet reads, “When I said@MBuhari hates Igbos many were shocked. Now others have said it and he has proved it with his shameful Oct.1st speech. “Let me share another secret with you deep down he has nothing but contempt and disdain for southerners, Middle Belters and Christians. Buhari thought the Igbos will never bounce back after d civil war. Imagine his shock when he saw what d Igbos were able to achieve with just 200 naira abi na 2 pounds few years after d war. His hatred grew and that was d main reason why I kept asking my brothers to keep calm coz Buhari will slaughter us like chickens at d slightest provocation. |
