I want to know if religion has or is playing any significant role in either curtailing or increasing the Niger Delta crisis. As we all know, the Niger Delta crisis has been going on for years now and no meaningful solution is in sight but it should be noted that the Niger Delta people did not resort to violence instantly, they first used peaceful protest but they were ignored, which forced them to resort to violent agitations. Please i would like to know if there are biblical or Islamic quotations and justification for the people finally resorting to violence as a means of expressing their feelings.
