PDP NATIONAL LEADERSHIP DRAGS SEN. HOPE UZODINMA TO THE DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE OF THE PARTY.

The leadership of the People's Democratic Party, PDP has finally dragged the Senator representing Imo West Senatorial district, Sen. Hope Uzodinma to the National Disciplinary Committee of the Party for gross insubordination, anti party activities amongst other offenses. This was confirmed yesterday the 3rd day of October 2017 by the Spokesman of the party, Prince Adeyeye.

After studying retinue of petitions against Sen. Uzodinma from both his senatorial constituency, the State Exco of the party in Imo and indeed petitions from numerous party faithful from Imo state and beyond, the party was left with no other option but to issue a query to the Senator. It is worthy of note that, Sen. Hope Uzodinma refused to respond to the query unlike his colleague in the Senate, Buruji Kashamu who responded to the same query issued against him by the party. The decision to drag Sen. Uzodinma to the disciplinary committee, was made in other to instil party discipline in Imo state in particular and PDP national in general.

Uzodinma has been leading a deadly internal rebellion in Imo PDP, funding parallel structures from ward to the state thereby causing unprecedented confusion and undermining the legitimately elected officers of the party in the state led by Barr. Charles Ezekwem.

This development has once again proved that PDP under Sen. Ahmed Makarfi is determined to punish those being used by the ruling APC to destablise our party. The news of dragging this Senator to the Disciplinary Committee has sent wide jubilation in Imo state especially in his Orlu senatorial zone.

In the words of a PDP chieftain from Ideato North, Mazi Andrew Nwabuihe; "this man called Sen. Hope Uzodinma has caused enough damage to the party in Imo state". Nwabuihe accused Uzodinma for trading with PDP. He challenged the national leadership of the party to muster enough courage and expel this notorious Senator if they are serious about reclaiming Imo government house from Rochas Okorocha. He claimed that with Uzodinma still in PDP, that the chances of any victory for PDP is very slim.

We are calling on the members of the disciplinary committee to remain upright even in the face of mouth watering inducement which this Senator will be willing to offer them. He is known for corrupting constituted authorities to achieve his nefarious escapades.

We must get it right this time.
