The Junior Chamber International, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife chapter is set to embark on the renovation of Enuwa Primary Health Center, Ile-Ife.

A statement by Durodola Abiola and made available to Ife City News said JCI OAU is ready to revamp the health center and save the lives of pregnant women and the unborn children after carefully listening to the sad tales of pregnant women that visit the health centre.



According to the statement “the joy of motherhood is the happiness in the face of hers sons and daughters. The state of the maternity centre is quite appalling and requires quick intervention.”

“A cursory look at the Enuwa Primary Health Center in Ile-Ife provided an insight for many challenges as they lack electricity, water and other amenities.”


The chamber however called for the support of the general public through sponsorship and donations to JCI OAU with the account number 0199035659 GT Bank for the renovation of the hospital.
