Is that not the entrance to the stadium?
Yes it is. The action man wants the environment to look more decent while the deranged Nigerians believe every stadium or school fence should be market shops.

It is illegal and unconstitutional what Rochas has been doing using the federal allocations to the 27 lgas to remodel and develop your city Owerri.

You must give Rochas your own money to remodel your city of Owerri to a world class city of your taste.

Rochas is barely educated, that's why he doesn't understand the unconstitutional nature of abandoning rest of Imo state and using their allocations on Owerri.

I'm indigenous to Imo state and also resides in the state capital but I'm not from Owerri. If he makes the development of the state capital his priority then I don't see how that amounts to breaking the law. Governance is a "continuum" the next governor can make the rural areas & semi urban areas their own priority. The development of Owerri into a beautiful and attractive city will also have a multiplier effect on the surrounding areas. Owerri city belongs to all Imolites so stop making it a case of we against them.

Remodeling a city to international standards have implications. Looks like Nigerians forget in a hurry, when oga hell Rufai was doing his own in Abuja, people cried cursed and maligned that man but to an extent people are reaping the benefits.

So Rochas I guess, after some years might be remembered for good
nna the ones he demolished Nov/Dec 2015 are still there no single work done on them , the ones he managed to tar or construct a drainage have all collapsed if u not from IMO i will not mind paying for your transport to come to imo and see for yourself
it take ambode 3weeks or even a month to complete a road it has taken our government 2years to even complete a 400meter road project and u say modernization , only on the media LOL

You don't get it.

Cities develop manly through the industry and entrepreneur of people of the city.

Nnewi, for example, expands because of its people"s industry.

For its development, Owerri depends on funds that should have been used for developing other local government areas in Imo state.

That is wrong.

Very wrong of you the idea of first developing Owerri before other cities in Imo state - view of a semi-illiterate fella.

The demolition started May-June 2016 and that was Orlu road so you lied. The 2nd demolitions were September 2016 for parts of Okigwe road but most were demolished between April and July 2017. I believe the works are quite fast especially around Bank road demolished 4 months ago.

The Imo State Government and a former Minister of Interior and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Governorship candidate in 2015 elections, Capt. Emma Iheanacho are engaged in a war of words over a planned demolition of his private home.

Iheanacho, at the weekend in Owerri, capital of Imo State, had told journalist that the state government marked the fence of his No. 6, Orlu Road, Owerri, massive home, for demolition, threatening brime and stone if such rumours he heard in the past, was carried out.
The Guardian gathered that Lamonde Hotels, owned by the governor, Rochas Okorocha and located along the same road, was not marked as at time of filing this report.

Okorocha, in a reaction, in a statement on Monday, in Owerri, signed by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Sam Onwuemeodo, advised Iheanacho to take it by faith, the same way others, whose properties were torched or demolished, did as a marked of patriotism to develop the state.

Who told you that Owerri City belongs to all Imolites? Fallacy.

Who told you that a person from Orlu or Okigwe or Oguta - the three official urban towns in Imo - shall be happy watching governor Okorocha plough Imo state funds in demolishing and rebuilding in Owerri City, while Orlu, Okigwe and Oguta decay as they are doing now?

What if the next governor comes from Owerri and continues with Okorocha's policy of Owerri only?

It's the mark of illiteracy to say that one town in a state shall become a World class city, after that, future governors shall start developing infrastructure in other towns in the state.

You keep ranting about illiteracy up and down when its obvious that you are the one who is intelectually handicapped. For your information, illiterate is someone who can't read and write. It seems like you're a primitive village man with a very low mentality. Kettle calling pot black.

Lol. Educated.
So between you and me, who is kettle and who is pot?

Certainly, I am neither. You are either of kettle or pot then, because, like Rochas Okorocha, you want use of federal allocations meant for development of Orlu or Okigwe to be used to develop World Class City in Owerri, while Orlu and Okigwe remain rural areas until Owerri becomes a World Class City.

But which one be this your World Class City sef? Sounds like from a half-educated person. Did New York wait, did US government deny New York development infrastructure, until Washington DC the capital city, becomes World Class City? You must be educated like Rochas Okorocha.
