Professor Ango Abdullahi who is the secretary
of the Northern Elders' Forum (NEF) has said
that the north is not afraid of the break-up of
Nigeria.
According to report, the former vice chancellor
of Ahmadu Bello University spoke at a two-day
conference organised by the Arewa Research
and Development Project (ARDP).
Abdullahi said the north was ready to go back
to the pre-1914 arrangement.
He said: "If we can't go back to1914, we should
