Bethesda Child Support Agency was set up in 2001 by Freedom Foundation, a non profit organization committed to pioneering social reforms through poverty alleviation and wealth creation. Since its inception, Bethesda has spearheaded efforts to provide free qualitative education, school supplies, nutrition and health care to over 2500 Orphans & Vulnerable Children (OVC) in Lagos.

To further strenghten the reach and impact of its program, Bethesda with the full sponsorship of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) is organizing its 1st Annual Poster Design Competition for Secondary Schools Students in Lagos State. [b]The theme of the competition is "I See Hope".[/b]The poster competition aims at creating awareness of, and advocating for the plight of OVC and the need for them to be educated.

We use this medium to invite secondary schools and students to participate.

DESIGN BRIEF
Entry is free and opens between March 10th 2010 and May 10th 2010.

Participants should write details on back of their entries

All participants will receive Certificates of Participation

Number of entries per student/school is UNLIMITED

The poster size must be IN CARDBOARD SIZE drawn, sketched or painted in any style on paper or cardboard. However, no organic elements or loose items can be used.
Participants have complete creative liberty, but their design(s) MUST celebrate education for Orphans & Vulnerable Children.

1st, 2nd and 3rd Price winners in both Junior and Senior categories would receive gifts and art supplies from the organizers and sponsors.
The prize giving /award ceremony is slated to hold on thursday May 27, 2010 at The Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, V- Island, Lagos in commemoration of the National Children's Day.
