The power sector might have seen the light at the end of its tunnel of dilapidation, as a proactive Non Governmental Organisation called Grand African Entrepreneurship Support and Youth Development Centre (GAESY) is set to unveil it's newest project tagged "Light-Up Nigeria Project".

This was made available to newsmen via a press statement released this morning from the headquarters at Abuja. The statement highlights the impacts of the project in areas of power efficiency through alternative energies, youth empowerment for Nigerians, job creation for the unemployed and several opportunities that will stern the creation, growth and development of MSMEs in Nigeria.

It also identified the need for interested Nigerians to key into the project and engage in the one week upcoming training which will be held for volunteers in different categories. However, "Light-Up Nigeria Project" has established a new dawn for the revolution of the power sector in Nigeria. This it will achieve through the provision of alternative energies like solar and Bio gas exploration.

The project, according to the press release has engaged a functional partnership with the world Bank, Federal government and other international alternative-energy institutions, so as to provide a network for the effective availability, management and accessibility of the gadgets which the project will provide for Nigerians.

Basically, Light-Up Nigeria Project" aims at empowering over 4million Nigerians, training of seventy thousand youths, the electrification of two thousand villages, the initiation of over 1500 Renewable Power Projects cutting across the Six Geo-Political zones and the creation of 20,000 MSMEs in Nigeria.
