Passengers in Ikorodu area of Lagos have been been left stranded at different points they had come out to take their popular BRT bus to work.

The bus usually convey passengers to Lagos Island and some other locations.

Thursday morning became a nightmare, as some who had calculated their expenses for the day, had to quickly switch to plan B, praying they may not need to cut down on their lunch for the day to meet up with the new plan.

Bounce News was told by a staff of Primero Limited, operators of the bus, that the striker was caused by salary being owed drivers and other staff.

This is not the first time the drivers of BRT will be embarking on strike in 2017.

They have not been paid their salary for September and they cannot sustain the expenses involved in coming to work, driving all the day and going home empty-handed.

On Thursday morning, the ever-busy BRT corridor at Ikorodu area of Lagos State was empty.

Commercial motorcyclists popularly called Okada took the opportunity to make brisk money.
