You're flying from Nigeria to Kansas and in order to save fund you decided to fly into New York then take a domestic flight to Kansas which make sense but not the cheapest and the shortest because the best flight is Nigeria to Chicago then domestic flight to Kansas.... This is why CBP are always suspicious of Nigerian flying into New York when they have other options an example is someone from Port Harcourt going to Maiduguri, it make sense for the passenger to fly from Port Harcourt via Abuja instead of Lagos.
The same with people going to Florida flying through New York instead of Atlanta,Washington Dulles, Houston, Miami etc
What I'm trying to say is that when planning trip and you want the cheapest trip it may look stupid to the CBP which may lead to scrutiny at JFK.

But it seems as though i would be busy and may not meet the date so i may travel much later to city B for another conference. Is this going to be a problem at POE? VO - Thank you for this information but I ll be refusing your application as we find you ineligible at the moment.You may reapply if you feel your circumstances have changed.
Returns our passports with the blue paper and my bank statement.

My wife was disappointed.She suggested we reapply immediately for another interview.She feels the interview went well , that the VO wasn't friendly and was fishing for reasons to refuse our application.We have applied again and secured a date for last week in August and sincerely I'm not keen anymore but my wife and kids want this Disney experience like oxygen itself.

What could possibly have gone wrong?

I had a hunch that might have been what she was looking out for in my bank statement but it would be improper to come to a conclusion by relying solely on my personal bank statement.The Ghana trip was funded from the company account and I didn't see it fit to go to the interview with the company statement of account since the intended trip was going to be privately funded.Kindly send me a link to the Disneyland in Dubai let me see if I can get my wife to buy in.Thanks.

I Ve reapplied again and I Ve got a date in August 2018. I didn't know the naija Canada palaver has gotten to the hilt.I sincerely thought people were making a mountain out of a molehill.My schedule is free between now and September after which traveling would be a long shot.Should I go ahead in August or should I not?

With you on this take too.... Hardly expected he wouldn't get it! This isn't an application that can easily be ruined by lack of travel history. However, a li'l bit of a better travel history would likely have just helped sha. That bank statement though....

Maybe if you back out and allow your family do the trip alone, something good may just come out, just maybe.... The best thing for now remains facing elsewhere about right now as suggested by previous posters. Get back on the US front later. Regards

Nothing has changed in your circumstances.
I do not advice a reapplication at this point...

Hello Fam, pls urgent advice needed...my office staff filledthe DS160 form on my behalf for visa renewal but my picture was rejected, I was asked to take another picture which I did and gave to the HR officer. But he had gone ahead with the process and printed the form saying he will attach picture manually before sending to Dhl... he went through the process and got interview waiver form printed... on getting to Dhl they refused to accept my form on the grounds that the picture was not uploaded on the site...

How can I fill another form without paying another visa fee pls/ what should I do?

After typing for about 3 Minutes, I was shocked to be Denied by a black American American who is about 20 years old, note ;no document was asked for, eg, Certificates, employment/promotion letters, bank statement, etc
By the way am 37 years.
