abnot: When Trump said he would build a wall, it wasn't going to be a physical wall you know. This difficult immigration process is only a section of that "wall" "... I am going to build a wall...and I'm gonna make them pay for it..." Note: Tax on foreign imports, VISA fees, immigrants, Mexico 1 Like |

The problem now, is that am married now and I have a child now I and my wife want to and our child want to applied for USA visa, but am afraid that my previous information we still be at the embassy and I don’t want my wife to know that I have applied for Usa visa before twice I don’t know what to do I need help please. |
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by OmoBendel24: 1:43am On Sep 15, 2018 |
Robertwood211: Start getting help from letting your wife know from the A-Z of this matter first thing first before using your tainted relationship with the embassy to infest hers and the kid. You and your previous application are very known to the embassy just in case you're not 100% sure of that. You won't get past them! 1 Like |

Good morning. i came across this thread just today. you are doing a great job. God bless you. please i need an advice. My uncle in US married a lady here in Nigeria since last two years, but she could not join my uncle in US. My uncle wanted her to come over through studying in a university over there, but she is having difficulties passing TOEFL twice now. There is no how the school will send her admissions letter without that. My question is this; is there any other way she can travel to US? because my uncle really want her to join him. Please help out from your experiences. Thanks |

KAMSITO: Of course it shows desperation oh! Make us believe otherwise if you can then, or save it for the VO.... |
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by GiftyDiamond: 9:51am On Sep 15, 2018 |
keni: Please help me ask, she has never had need to travel b4. And it's her last child expecting first child with her hubby. I wonder what kind of desperation @Abnot mean. If U don't have suggestions, to help out with. It better you look pass. A woman in her late 50's when dey go omugwo na dey desperate to migrant or what do you mean. |
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by OmoBendel24: 9:53am On Sep 15, 2018 |
Amoj4682: Not bad for starters, but you need much more than that still. How's hubby's travel history too? Simple question; what will bring you back home na? Having a chance at all starts from not traveling as an entire family in my opinion.... |

abnot: Sis is on F1 schooling, son inlaw entered via visa lottery and he is alrdy a citizen, working. They are both legally married there. So their status is not questionable. |

@vista411 2 red flags spotted Vo - why are u traveling Mum- going to see my daughter n soninlaw, they are expecting their first child and would be needing my support with post partum. You highlighted this, how else can she present her reason for travelling. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks all |

KAMSITO: visa interviee? or you mean interview? |
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by Beautyaddy: 10:11am On Sep 15, 2018 |
irene670: Good. So your uncle is a green card holder? The best and fastest way for his spouse to join him in the US is when he petitions an immigrant visa for his new wife. A green card holder can petition for his wife to become a legal permanent residence in the US. It usually takes about 2 years. |

Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by abnot: 11:29am On Sep 15, 2018 |
GiftyDiamond: I never said it was questionable however we need to look at things from the perspective of what is happening as opposed to what things are meant to be like . US visa officers are granted an almost unregulated level of autonomy to decide whether applicants qualify for their visa or not . Thus if they suspect anything they can deny without thinking twice . In addition I guess you are aware that F1 visa is a non-immigrant visa but an intent by the daughter to switch to an immigrant visa was already obvious during the mum’s interview. Daughter went to US on F1 visa (which is usually valid for two years ) and is already married to a US citizen with a US born child . This is a clear case of intending to immigrate and the VO may have suspected that mum may be an intending immigrant . If you’ve noticed during visa interviews the interviewer usually types some form of note as you are answering the questions which may serve as a reference point for the next interviewer. And lastly mothers going to stay with daughters during and after birth is more of an African thing . I don’t hear of it among the whites ( Europeans / Americans ) and I’m guessing the VO is also not so abreased with our African culture . My comment was based on all these facts . There are a lot of intending immigrants in Nigeria at the moment which makes its difficult for these visa officers to clearly identify . 2 Likes |
