Don't re-apply immediately otherwise you would be denied a visa again. Your greatest doing was you didn't convince the VO you have the funds to take care of trip. As a result, more questions were asked.

Experienced VOs sometimes, don't just stop talking to you like that whenever they noticed a flaw. They go ahead to ask further questions for fairness but at the end, it's all about sorry, you are ineligible blah blah blah.

I'm scheduled for 7th Of November 7:30am interview at Abuja. I'm a final year student going to see my cousin who has been my backbone in school without seeing me in person, finally she wants me to come for Christmas holidays and new year so she will get to see whom she has been paying school fees for. She's a citizen, born and brought up there with 2kids, I really want to see this my aunty, she's so nice and I wouldn't want interview to screw my chances of playing nice boy to her so she will be happy her money didn't waste while training me,

Am suppose travel 13th of December and return 27th of Feb if granted, abeg my people what are my chances because I have been following this thread since and hearing people saying 'ties' me I don't have any tie, I'm a full time blown student, never travelled before neither worked anywhere,

Advice me pls, because I filled in my form 'Student' as honest answer, and I'm 24yrs old, is there any problem on my own case? Advice me pls everybody here both small and big, I need your advice, dont forget to add your prayers for me behind

I love the honesty in you and enthusiasm, but the bitter truth is that America has a guided law that operates and binds all true Americans, if you can't fulfill your end of the bargain, which is your "ties", it may be a bit difficult to get the visa
But then, am not God, I wish you success

Good day house, please I need an honest advice. My family was denied a visit visa to the United State of America in July 2016. So, we reapplied and was still denied this October 2017.

The same information I used in our earlier ds 160 was still maintained since there wasn't any cooked up info.

Want to ask what might be the issue, can we still reapply and how soon?

The only way is for you to go for the interview with the letter of invitation.

If you are working in a renowned firm, you will be given an email.. Usually with the name of the company

How your invitee got to the US isn't a problem, she believed you can't finance your trip. Female VOs are just too difficult, they hardly issue visa. They issue visa on their own not what you have in ur profile. For her to say you are not qualified this time, I will advice to give enough time before you re-apply.

it's very simple... they will ask for your work email not your personal email during the interview session. So the email in ds160 is different from your work email and it's not advisable to use your work email to apply for U.S visa.

I guess you should check both applications for inconsistencies that might have been the issue besides that you are good to go. Reapply, study your Ds160 form

Cannot vividly recollect that of last year, just that the vo asked that maybe I've applied for us visa before, which I answered no. He also took one of our passports, left his seat maybe to confirm the stamps on it, cos we have entry pass and out of Benin Republic, Togo and Ghana on it.

One mistake I notice was that I mistakenly answered 10 days for our stay, but it was from Dec. 10-23 I filled on the ds160. Could this be the reason? and how soon do you advise we reapply?

If you can differentiate your personal email from your official email, then you should be able to answer that correctly. The interview is to verify and provide additional information. So it doesn't matter or necessary to put your official (work) email in your application. Most work email can be verified.

When filling my form, I mistakenly inputted my my sisters address as the contact address and my friend's Address as where you will stay in the U.S.:. While my wife and children's had my sisters address filled in the "where you will stay in the U.S" section & my friends address filled in the "contact address section"

Sorry. You ought to have gotten the visa. How long did you say you gonna stay in the States in your application?

So i had my interview at the Abuja Embassy Yesterday, Didn't happen the way i wanted but here's my transcript. Its the second time i'd be denied. The first was in July 2016 while the second time was yesterday. I'm in my finals studying computer science in one of the private universities in Nigeria.

VO- Good morning how are you?
Me- Morning, I'm a bit nervous but i'm fine.

VO- Smiled, Its OK. What High School Did You Go?
Me- I figured the one i filled in my DS-160 was different from the previous one, So i explained i wrote WAEC in one school and NECO in another.

Vo- What university do you go?
Me- ***************

VO- Have you ever travelled out of the country?
Me: Yes.

VO- Where?
ME: South Africa(2013) and Dubai(2014) with my family, Seychelles(JULY 2017) alone.

VO- What were you doing in Seychelles Alone?
Me- I was seeing the beaches and island hopping since it was a week after my birthday.

VO- What does your father do?
ME- I stuttered, He owns a construction and general consulting business and i work for him whenever i have the chance.

VO- Is he here today?
Me- No.

VO- How many children does your father have?
Me- 4( 2 boys and 2 girls) My brother schools in the UK and my Sister got married in June.

VO- I'm sorry but i'll have to agree to my colleagues earlier decision, You can try again when you have stronger TIES.

I was really pained for a few minutes but the fact that i actually wanted to go flex made me get over it. No question was asked about my course or anything. Sometimes i wish they could use a Polygraph at the interview. I thought my school was a good tie cos i don't understand why i'd abandon something i've been doing for the past 3 years to abscond. I'm scheduled to graduate next year. I'm considering the UK/ Schengen but i actually don't want to go to the UK right now because i might have to go there for my masters.

However, as a personal principle I do not do PMs for travel matters. When I advice on the thread, the likelihood of giving nonsense Advice or illegal advice is reduced
Moreover, there are gurus here that will add to the little I have.
U are posting under an alias. Nobody knows u. Post here and I'll answer asap. If you can't post the ish here then I'm not sure I want to or can advice on it
