Check your baseband and confirm it is not unknown or invalid. If it is, you'd need to fix that before all that options can work

On android, you can track a stolen phone if and only if you've turned on security settings such as;

Find my device
Location option
Administrator access

Without these, I'm sorry but your device is gone. You can have the IMEI blacklisted some way or have your network provider track same IMEI but remember the possibility of an illegaly changed IMEI by the thief.

Please guys my Infinix was showing an alarm notification that refused to clear, I decided to restart it but it kept restarting and switching off and on continuously, it comes on shows the INFINIX logo and goes off, then the cycle continues, I have tried doing a hard reset, volume up + power button but it simply keeps on offing and coming on. Please what can I do? its an Infinix Hot X623.

Actually, your phone's problem is different from the other user. Hers was a disabled camera app while yours is working with no camera in app switch to select front (selfie) camera.

Regarding the problem you're facing, first, I'd want you to know that since the stock camera app can't switch to front camera (owing to missing clickable button) no app will fix that for you. Second, i've several of such cases and 90%of the time it turns out that the front camera is bad while others were simply stock ROM issue. A friend of mine had a similar problem on his Samsung s5 in which the option to swap to the front camera isn't present in the camera app. Flashing didn't fix it but another front camera did.

Deduction & Possible Solution: For hardware failure, seems the camera API is designed in such a way that the switching button in the camera app on shows when both cameras are detected. Probably your phone has experience fatal impact due to drop or water spillage towards the phones earpiece grill. Change front camera.

For software, flashing with the appropriate ROM should fix it. NOTE: Suppose your phone has a factory installed android 7.0 but spec says it's upgradable to 8.1. I'd advise you to flash with the Android version that came with your phone and not with the upgraded version.

anytime I switch on my infinix hot 6x (x623) without unlocking or pressing it,the phone will just hang and it won't be accessible again until I restart it by holding the power button for 10secs and immediately unlock it anytime I switch on.Also this issue is also applicable anytime my alarm rings,I won't be able to switch it off until I hold down the power button. pls what's the solution to this.
