Division 1,2,3, 82 are Nigeria army they were started before independent.. they have 80%

Division 6,7 are new and they call themself nigerian army

Not all officers went to the nda. There are other institution that runs military program..

More than half of the officers went to regular University after joining the army, they don't carry the badge of the nigerian army.

Don't be deceived. U can't find a military officer from the position of a colonel upwards that isn't either a multi millionaire or a billionaire. They don't even bother about their salaries. The higher they are in rank,the richer and more corrupt they are. Taking salaries into consideration,NO NIGERIAN PAST MILITARY LEADERS could have become multi millionaires,billionaires or even have universities. Most of them are richer than Dangote but they won't agree to this fact because their salaries all through their military carreer don't tally with their wealth.

And with the poor salary, Buratai was able to buy two expensive mansions in Dubai.

How do you pay a guy in a saddled with the responsibility of protecting the nation's territorial integrity 49,000 naira and expect him to perform properly? That is less than $200!. In the same country where some couch-potato legislators are earning jumbo pay for doing utter NOTHING! Africa has a problem. A real problem. The other day I was watching a documentary on the D.R. Congo army and I kept hearing some saying their pay was fixed at $80(28000 Naira). Pathetic!

The police do not need orders to execute bullets the police can park their vehicle anywhere and collect egunje as long as You give oga his share. Army have to take permission from 'oga' to even piss that's why army checkpoints ask for bribe codedly Smh

1. So where do the Top Officers get the monies to live the lavish lifestyles they live? Answer- the Military is one of the most corrupt apparatus of govt.
2. How many Teachers receive as much as the lowest Military ranks? Do you know in many part of Nigeria, many teachers are still paid less than N10,000 monthly? And yet these Teachers add more value to the society than any other occupation and also the most denigraded.

If the Teachers start earning a minimum of N50,000, I will be shocked.
