My fellow beloveth Nairalanders.

I just bought a car for my wife but realised that the CD player is not functioning. If a disc is sloted in, it only shows loading for sometime before automatically ejecting itself. I don't know if it is the lens that is dirty or damaged? So I need your advice?

What can i do? Or can anybody recommend any reliable rewire who is a specialist?

Try use a lens cleaner and if still not working, look for a good technician around you to check it out. Probably, the lens need to be changed. Goodluck!

Thanks for the reply. What kind of lens cleaner? Is it the same one used to clean the laptop lens? And do u have an idea how much the lens could cost?

Yes can use the same cleaner with laptop lense. You can get it from those boys that hawk cd, etc around. Cost less than N500.
