I was highly disturbed when my 1st semester exam result came out and i found out i had dropped from 3.1 to 2.0 with two carryover courses. My school uses 7 point scale grade system. And currently I'm in my 200L.
Right now I'm at a crossroad and i need your cogent advice on what to do. Is there any possibility i would graduate with 1st or 2nd class if i work harder because I'm afraid of graduating with a 3rd class.
Or is it advisable i retake jamb and start afresh with a course i have passion for?

u will graduate with a 2.1.... or at worst a 2.2 but there are a few things to consider

1) RUN AWAY FROM DATING, SEX N RELATIONSHIPS

2) Have female scholars whom u can read with

3) GIVE NO HOLIDAYS TO YOURSELF.... cos its a do or die affair... Study even when school is on break..

4) PRAY like mad... pray as if studying wont work and Study as if God didnt hear your prayer.

5) NEVER EVER FEAR FAILURE.... I repeat... NEVER.!!!!

6) If the department course work is too confusing for you then change department

7) always do your assignments n be in all classes for attendance... it goes a long way in getting up your grades.

Have you invested as much this year in your career as in your car?

Second class is still possible if you're determined.

Passing in Nigerian umiversities is easy...read all ur notes, read inbetween the lines, word for word, do nt leave any part of ur notes unread.....make sure u score above 20 over 30 in all ur CAs.. I started very poorly bt i made a good result in d end

It's not too late.

Drop the course and retake jamb for a course u have more passion for. Firstly, as u go higher, d courses involved become more technical and difficult to comprehend. It could be worse if u don't have any passion for it. If u go for a course that u love, u are going to discover that it's like sliding downhill. Everything goes for u. Also, u have more experience. 2.0/7 is 1.3 on a five-point system. That's a WAF. Consider JAMB
