Today, they are firm
Looking tall like Mount Everest
Though tomorrow they shall sag
And look downwards like wizened plants

But a pledge I make
This day in October
That as I handle with them
When they point straight at me
So shall I
When they look tired and used

But before they become tired
From use and time
Let me enjoy the firmness
