Hello NL,i am doing a research for my uncle who resides in South Africa,he is planning to set-up a firewood business he want to be purchasing truck load of logs (firewood) then splitting them into pieces before re-selling to local restaurant operators and household users.please nairalanders your reasonable contribution's and advice will be highly appreciated,if this can be a vaible business in Lagos?.actually he is planning to start the trade with a minimum capital of one million naira.your kind advice.

I can understand that most restaurants and household use gas cylinders.anyway i think i have to really look into other areas that he can invest this fund into.

i think coal is a better option to firewood
