Nigerian Entertainer, Musician,Video Director, and Young Politician, Udeme Ubot, popularly known as Topsy took to his social media page to urge the Rivers state Government to remove Lunatics from the garden city of Portharcourt.

Mr Topsy noted that lunatics are almost replacing flowers, and this issue is becoming a nuisance to residents and visitors to the state capital, and  also feared that most of the lunatics seen in the street of Portharcourt could be criminals in disguise.

He(Mr Topsy) however recommends that as a matter of urgency, the Rivers State Government should put in place Special TaskForce to evacuate ,treat and rehabilitate them.

Relevant authorities in the state should, as a matter of urgency, remove destitute and lunatics from the streets of Port Harcourt.

The problem is increasingly becoming a huge nuisance to the people, visitors and making nonsense of the garden city status of the state.

Government should plan to evacuate, treat and rehabilitate lunatics currently replacing flowers in the garden city of port Harcourt.

I also wish to recommend that a taskforce be put in place to checkmate the reoccurrence of this menace as it is even feared that most of these lunatics and destitute could be criminals who disguise as lunatics during the day, but perpetrate all manners of atrocities under the cover of darkness during the nights.
