@18 Platoon , you say you are a soldier, I have seen some of your posts on NL and honestly if that is how you think about Nigeria, why not just tell your brothers that it is time you left this forced Union, or is it by force now. I really dont know if you are actually joking or you are serious. How can you tell Nigerians to move away from their homes because there is a possibility that they maybe killed just because of an election judgement, and you call it advice. , and you say we are Racist? please check yaself first , @Onlysose , you raised the level of intellectual discourse? , I shake my head in shame, and laff in spanish |

@onlysose well atleast, they are not daylight killer, and do not teach their followers to kill others. I once lived in Gombe and i know what it with ur so called religion. I also lived in lagos, and i have muslims as neighbours and their own approach is quite different from what u guys do in the north. U remember what ur holy brothers did to a corp member in Maidugiri your kule women who allow men dressed like women to come in to be with them , killer religious imam. what more bondage do u envisage, let it be a political threat that u called it but anything more than that, we will defend ourselves and better advise ur people forthwith. Enough is enough! |

@ikenagwo it's sad the Yoruba man is a born coward but if igbos have to be the vanguard of bravery and surivial of sanity in nigeria then we are more then up for the task. We have been stock piling russian weapons since 2000 and these guys are still swinging sticks and making noise. I would love too see these uneducated cow blood drinking people try. It is sad to see people like you talk without much reasoning and sense. Did that mail say anything like Sokoto indigene are out to attack igbos only. or are they collaborating with Yorubas, I see in you the long hatred you ve borne for the Yoruba race. Why must you be blinded by your hatred for other people and not allowing reasoning to take the better part of you. Apparently you wont be able to work with or tolerate people other than your tribe dont be so narrow minded my dear the world is bigger than what you see. |

For somebody who is hell bent on insulting others intellectual capabilities, your typing skill is atrocious. we had arguments and counter arguments as a result of this public exchange, and all you are here to do is to cross peoples' Ts and dot their Is, and what is your contribution. get out, go and chat in facebook |

I hope I am not one of the rebel non-indigenes being issued warning, being a strong critic of their governor since 2007: http://www.nigeriavillagesquare.com/articles/guest-articles/just-how-evil-is-bafarawa.html But thank God, I don leave their state for them More seriously, being a follower of Sokoto politics, I think I know the genesis of this issue. In April 2009, the current governor was unseated by his political rivals, led by ex-governor Bafarawa of DPP, for, I think, not satisfying the period one needs to be in a party before being eligible to contest on the platform of that party. The opposition won in courts and the governor was unseated. The court ordered a re-election. PDP fielded the sacked governor again and he won and returned to his seat. The opposition went to court again, claiming the sacked governor was not eligible to recontest. And tomorrow (Tuesday, 16/03) is the judgment day. Feelers have it that the judgment may be in favour of opposition and the governor may be sacked again, and prevented from recontesting. This has led to anxiety in Sokoto state, and that, I think, is why the so-called youths loyal to the governor are threatening fire and brimstones before tomorrow's judgment. The anger on non-indigenes may not be unconnected with people like us, non-indigenes, who have voiced out our reservations against the governor. I was a victim of the Sokoto political imbroglio in 2007 and still pass comments on the state politics till today, two years after leaving Sokoto. Ditto for a couple other non-indigene regular commentators on Sokoto politics, whose comments appear critical of the curent governor. Maybe, that is why the heat is now being put on non-indigenes in the state, as the criticisms of the current governor appear to be led by us non-indigenes, though operating from distance. You need to be in Sokoto to see politics of thuggery and area-boyism. |

Addressing journalists in Sokoto at the weekend, its Chairman, Comrade Abubakar Salame, said due to the peaceful and harmonious relationship existing between the indigenes and non indigenes, it had become imperative for non-indigenes to vacate the state for their safety, if justice is denied. what the guy is simply saying, is that non indigenes should be careful so that if trouble starts they will not be affected, before it will ascribe to religious war, cos if for any reason a non indigene is killed then its another story, |

I feel that this threat to non indigenes is unrealistic. Was it the non indigines that stole their mandate in the first place? Why would they not confront the governor or his party that stole their mandate instead of trying to carry their grievances and vengance against non indigenes, if at all the mandate was stollen. It is high time we decide if actually Nigeria should remain one country. |

onlysose: It's funny how you are now in defensive mode when it is you who called out everybody before you and accused them of bribing their way out of tertiary institutions and lacking basic reading and understanding skills. Clean up your act before calling others out. Your typing skill and use of proper prepositions are lacking, period. You can dish it out but you cannot take it, Hypocrite. Oh, and it is ''ON'' facebook not ''IN'' facebook. Lol, smart guy indeed. *sigh* |

uplawal: I will take you serious if you had advocate too on why you people are afraid to leave the monthly free oil money from south that land on your laps without sweat. For any reason, no one has moral or legal right to call a person a non indegine inside his own country. In all my stay in Britain,, I haven't heard a Scot being called a non indegene in London or any place in England. You should have asked your father why they fought the civil war? Because they fought for one Nigeria and one Nigeria you got, if not you could have kept your north as a different nation and then you call anybody non indegene or even foreigners, and then you can legally has the right to ask them to leave whenever it suits you and it's called deportation. |

they should remember that, they also have their indigenes who live in other states. If such happens in sokoto where indigenes are evacuated to their state, that means nigeria is heading for division. Anyway we are waiting for their action and federal government action. |

Bandit C The initial posters could not synchronize with the message content, that is why I was mad at them. the quality of education transcends beyond the proper use of preposition, you need to speak to some professors to understand what I am saying. You know the real meaning of knowledge is using your real life experience in interpreting abstract concepts. You dont have a space in this our precious verbal essence because of your lack of ideas. well, keep editing our posts may be you will find some wrong use prepositions. but remain there vampire. see your face, |
