Job Purpose
 To develop overall layout and production design.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage client proposals from typesetting through to design, print and production.
• Work with clients brief and advise them with regards to design style, format, print production and time scales.
• Weekly written report on client satisfaction/feedback.
• Think creatively to produce new ideas, concepts and developing interactive design.
• Use innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time.
• Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and websites.
• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size.
• Prepare rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief.
• Review final layouts and suggest improvements if required.
• Liaise with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.
Requirements
• Proven graphic designing experience.
• Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality.
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas.
• Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc).
• Highly proficient in all design aspects.
• Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines.
