The Peoples Democratic Party on Tuesday held its 76th National Executive Council meeting at the National Headquarters in Abuja.

According to NGHUBS, the party deliberated on several decisions which included election of officers of the party which they approved 9-10 December, 2017 as the date for the elction.

Consequently, NEC discussed and approved the guidelines for the conduct of Ward, LGA and State Congresses, and the National Convention.

Recall that PDP has zoned presidency to the North and vice presidency to the Southern part of Nigeria ahead of the 2019 general election.
