The phone rings. I pick. "Hello, who's this?", I asked. "Hi, Ike. It's I." a light female voice came through earpiece. "Who? And how do you know my name?", I replied, feeling a slight pull in my stomach. The voice spoke in a calm, controlled manner. "I'm God." A short laugh found its way out of my squeezed stomach. "Hahahaa, get off my phone. I'm atheist. Besides, you sound very unconvincing with that voice. Go work on it." "hmm, I guess you were expecting a male voice then." I paused. "Why did you expect me to be male? Is that the image painted on the wall of your minds by your society? Will you be willing to tear it down, and look at things afresh? i'd love to talk with you. I'll meet you in the garden of your mind." And suddenly, I felt within a feeling rising, expanding, my mind was stretching.... then darkness. 4 Likes 1 Share |

I opened my eyes. Or I thought I did. I had no eyes, but I could see. There were no smells here. Just a sort of stillness, the kind that would have sent shivers down my spine, if only I wasn't embodied. I seemed to be suspended in mid-air, a sort of existence that wasn't too disimilar to vapor. It felt light, like the weight of the world had been taken from me. I felt born again. "What's happening to me? Where am I?", I thought. But it felt like speaking. "You are at the beginning, where it all began. Your mom's womb." "For you, and billions of others before you, and a billion more after, this would be your entrance into the world. You will emerge into the world vulnerable, and only DEATH will be its exit. Life is your journey between both gates." 1 Like 2 Shares |

"Wow, this is wonderful", I said in wonder. "Oh, you humans, with your selfishness and thinking that I designed this world for you. Your journey isn't ...." "Hold on a minute", I interjected. "I forgot to ask your name" "I will tell you my name, if you can tell me yours." "Well, that's easy. My name is Ike" "Are you sure?" "What do you mean am I sure? Of course, my name is Ike." "How do you know this?" "Of course, I know this. That's what my mother named me...'' That short, awkward silence when realization sets in. It's like NEPA bringing light at an unexpected time. At first, shock, then joy, happiness. elation. The answer she wanted came to me in quick steps. "I have no name. I have no name. I have no name." "Yes, you'll go into the world nameless, your mind empty and pure. That's your natural form. Your experience in the real world will be influenced to a great extent by the souls you'll meet and interact with at the other end. By the world those before you have left behind." 4 Likes 2 Shares |
