I advise you go for an ultrasound to see the amount of gas in your GIT. you might need to stop taking carbonated drinks and food that contain too much gas like beans , too much milk and the rest. I did an ultrasound and found out it was too much collection of gas in my GIT that caused me endless pains.I started medication with activated charcoal and totally avoided carbonated drink and I'm okay now. Do an abdominal scan and see a doctor for advise.

The first time I started feeling pains in my upper stomach, just below my breastbones was in 2005. Each time I ate the pain would come and I was only wondering what was wrong with me. By 2009 chest palpitation set in. Everyday I thought I was going to die of heart failure. Then I went to hospital and after explaining to the doctor he told me to take life easy, eat well, worry less, you are a young man, buy that tablet, eat it and relax.

Things continued till 2015 when I fainted one midnight. By morning Icould not breathe anymore except through my mouth. If you place a cup of water on my stomach or my back you could drink hot tea in 15 minutes. Waist pain, headache, constant ringing in the right ear and dizzyness were all part of the problem.

Then I visited nearly all the general hospitals on Lagos mainland including Luth and St. Nicholas. Today's doctors are simply not good enough. Not even one of them has suggested endoscopy, barium meal or anything, yet I have spent nearly N650,000 on repeated heart screening from hospital to hospital and have spent and additional N600,000 on various drugs since 2012.

The problem is not over yet, but I cannot say I have gained anything from meeting a doctor, and I have net not less than 40 especially at the govt hospitals. The little help I have received is a product of my painstaking online research about ulcer and my health generally which I started in 2015.

I am convinced that Chronic ulcer and GERD can only be helped if the patient dutifully take to health suppliments and vitamins while maintaining a vigorous lifestyle that abhors ulcer triggers, and there is a long list of them if you check online. What you eat everyday is key to determining whether you will heal your ulcer/GERD.

A certain brand of different suppliments is what I chose, plus digestive pills I buy and am always on the lookout for. A bit costly, maybe thats why I am not regular on it.

Nope. No tests. From the answers I gave to my family doctor, he knew what was wrong. In Less than 2 weeks, I was free (having suffered excruciating pains for over a month before the medication)

-Eat plenty bananas
-Drink a lot of water
-Drink ewedu alot
-Soak unriped plantain in a plastic container full of water for three days(drink it daily) it smells though
-Reduce sèx
- don't eat anything peppery
- don't wait till you are hungary before you eat
- don't eat hard foods like yam, garri etc


The conditions plenty; that's all I remembered

I have it , the bloating is the most annoying thing , first change your sleep patter , dong sleep on your tommy , when eating , use any beer they help digestion , they will help you reduce some air , avoid sodiums foods , register for gym ...... they said there's no cure .

Ulcer nearly killed my mum some time ago we rushed her to the health Centre close to our house [obio] and the doctor administered some drugs and that was it... Till date.

Same with my mum, we never believed it was Ulcer because it came with different illness like back pain, headache, bloating etc.

Please I have been battling with ulcer, indigestion for the past 3 years.
This has adversely affected every aspect of my life and reduced my productivity too.

I have been to hospitals or and done several tests. I have taken treatments targeted at eliminating H pylori, all to no avail.

I used to take antacids and stopped when I got no improvements and also read about the side effects.

I have equally used a few home remedies.
I really want to hear real life experiences of people who have dealt with this before as it's causing me excruciating pains.

Major symptoms include bloating; hotness of the stomach, groin, legs, shortness of breath, excessive release of gas, belching etc.

Search for the drug ELICORID. you might have difficulty finding it but just know that it a guarantee cure for your condition.
ELICORID is a triple therapy regimen for peptic ulcer disease. it contains Rabeprazole(the very best proton pump inhibitor), Clarithromycin and Amoxicillin. Rabeprazole​ increases the PH of the stomach thereby creating an environment for the elimination of H. pylori by Clarithromycin and Amoxicillin.
Do not use ULSAKIT. PYLORES is another strong triple therapy regimen in the market but doesn't measure up to ELICORID in efficacy due to the variability in the quality of generic drugs.
I repeat search for ELICORID and say good bye to ulcer. if you can't find ELICORID look for ACERID and combine it with potent antibiotics.

Buy Gesticid... It's an antacid.... I also used something like Omeprazole and metronidazole.
One is meant to reduce the stomach acid (Gesticid) , the other is to prevent the production of the acid and one is to heal d wounds in the stomach. I've forgotten the prescription but it works like charm .
I like that Gesticid a lot... It relieves the pains instantly . I always carried it handy and took it as soon as feel any itch.... I must confess I abused it as it was d only source of instant relief.

Anyway I'm healed
Getting a permanent cure would be the best..

Not every type of ulcer respond to unripe plantain therapy tn.
The ops might be suffering from Gastrointestinal reflux which may be symptom of other diseases..
Please always check your sugar levels..

thanks for sharing this post,the trust is that,there's no problem that has no solution,except u've not gotten the solution to it... i have a grandpa that had cured many severe ulcer and even rheumatism,but he is far from lagos. he stays in ekiti state.

I used to have ulcer too but someone recommended water leaf. I simply prepared a soup of ugu and watrerleaf and I didn't know when d ulcer vanished. Water leaf fifty naira can solve ur problem. U can also use unripe plantain cut to pieces with d back and soak in water for a few days inside a refrigerator. Just be drinking d water for days.it works too but I prefer water leaf.

My brother. Its the same issue with me, there's nothing i have not tried. Av gone as far as alternative medicine, spent so much on drugs but nothing. Its more like that thing does not have a cure or can not even be surpressed.

The worst of it is the hotness. Sometimes i feel like an alien when the heat starts.

Pls should you get a remedy dont forget to bring it back heee as some of us will do our best too. By God's grace we shall overcome this thing.

If truly it I ulcer, you must first try to identify the trigger. Does it start when you don't eat on time, or when you over eat? Or is it when you eat a particular type of food or something you consume? Or is is when you strain yourself physically or mentally? Or is it when you are emotionally stressed?
A doctor asked me to identify the trigger and half of my problem I solved and over 15 years now I barely have néed for ulcer drugs as I keep it in check naturally.
You must sha have the patience to do the personal check.

Ulcer treatment can be tricky. In a big private hospital inI Ikoyi Lagos, they gave me drips and i didnt eat for days. Trying to treat it but pain never stopped.
Then i went to military hospital awolowo road and ulcer dissapeard.
1. H. Pylori ulcer, Ulsakit combo pack and avrocid suspension worked wonderd. Avrocid contsins simethicone which reduces the bloating/belching.
2. Avoid some food because they produce excess stomach acid. The foood are: oranges, tea,coffee, milk, tomatoes. Pllease dont eat stew for a while and avoid milk. And fried fatty food, carbonated drink and chocolate and spicy food.
3. Take 2 fingers of banans a day. It soothes the stomach as well as water melon.
4. For non. H. Pylori ulcer- Ranitidine n omeporazole combination is good.
Sometimes the meds wont work , unless you avoid some highly acidic food.

This treatment is for non H. PYLORI ulcer. As long as the bacteria is not eradicatred, the pain wont cesse. For notmal Ulcer, your tips will work.

@Finelinks. I have the exact symptoms you listed. How did you know you've ulcer? Who confirmed this?
Mine started this year.. and it hasn't been easy. I met a gastroenterologist and did series of tests.Helicobacter pylori was not detected. I did endoscopy/biopsy; this confirmed I had esophagitis i.e reflux acid. I was given omeprazole pills. My symptoms subsided for awhile, I then stopped taking it. After a month, it came back and in a very aggressive way. It affected me so much that I stopped going to work. I then did a colonoscopy/biopsy to check my colon and so forth, and ultrasound to check my organs. Everything was fine. The gastroenterologist now gave me strong dosage of pantoprazole. So far.. my stomach pains has stopped but I've now just developed a little heartburn. I feel way better now.

Eat lots of cabbage. It works for me. Also avoid stress, stress increases ulcer. Avoid oily foods and fries. Sorry bro.
I also take relcer and it works like magic. Work into any pharmacy and ask for Relcer. It's liquid and very effective. Get healed quick.

The same happened to me sir. After spending a lot of money at the hospitals, and treating heart problem, I finally met a doctor who advised me to go for Endoscopy, there they found out that I have GERD,' hiatal hernia' in particular. Now, I visit a gastroenterologist. He is a specialist in GERD and so far, I've seen relieve. I hardly have difficulty in breathing anymore and the belching and bloating had reduced. My doctor's number one rule is, never eat too much food'
He is right, I eat only enough and I stopped eating late. Many people have GERD without knowing
