3. Find your voice and stick to it

This is probably one of the hardest but most fulfilling aspects of being a blogger. People do not connect with ‘sites’ but with other people. You should know that what matters, what readers really resonate with, isn’t so much what you say, but how.

4. Focus on building an amazing call-to-action

This is a very good technique for growing not just your blog but other things you hope to introduce your audience too. For example, you can end your blog post with some kind of call to action to sign up for an email list or follow you on Twitter.

Op you are right.. Persistence is the key here. People go into blogging solely for the fabled monetary reward. They tend to think of it as though it is easy as learning to ride a bicycle.. They don't know about the stress involved it it. I myself opened a free domain blog last year August with only a post because I was very busy in school then as a final year student . Now I have a paid domain of the original one still with no post yet for over a month. The major problem with many bloggers is their lackadaisical attitude towards research. Many of they are too lazy to write a sound article of nothing less than 400 words except the usual "sultry actress" tales with nude pictures and Kim Kardashian related things and they want to succeed as bloggers. I myself have been compiling my articles for the past couple of days now with nothing less then 1,500 words to meet up with the Google adsense rules though which stipulates 400 minimum words as the least and I will only stop compiling when I'm at 40 credible articles, then I'd start posting along with other worthy news related items.. Sometimes, I wonder why Explorer on Nairaland is not a blogger. Anybody can become a blogger, but it takes a genius to become a successful one.

Yes you can use your phone to blog but you can only access some functions like editing template with a system. to open a .com website all you need to do is buy a custom domain and redirect it to your blog.
