Prof. Osinbajo knew no funds was voted for the clean up of Ogoni campaign yet, the Vice President, in June 2016 flagged off the oil spillage clean-up exercise amidst an elaborate ceremony in Bodo, Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State. 16 months after, not a drop of oil have been cleaned in Ogoniland. No actual work had commenced in the community, according to the Environmental Rights Action/Friends of the Earth Nigeria, ERA/FoEN. In February 2017, the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo revealed that the Ogoni Clean-Up project flagged off in 2016 will cost $1billion and the funds will be provided by Shell Petroleum Development Company. A $10m takeoff grant has been provided. In September 2017, the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo said, the Muhammadu Buhari led administration is taking its time in the ongoing Ogoni clean up. Do our system turn good people to bad people? The Vice President, Prof. Osinbajo, knew no fund was made available for the Cleanup exercises in Ogoni land yet, he and Buhari wasted millions in an elaborate campaign of lies and propaganda. majekdom2: Nothing is happening! If they were serious, there should have been remarkable progress after 16months. What is happening there is just a charade; to deceive gullible citizens. Imagine mobilizing the workers with $10million, for a job of $1Billion. Now... This is what I call deception!!! 8 Likes |

If Buhari thinks the prof is focusing on the 5% people he has the power to fustrate the excercise, simple. He needs to do social welfare to his northern supporter base, secure a second ticket, and then decide whether to actually clean up Ogoni. 2 Likes |

At one time they r "ready to act". At another " taking time to clean up". Are they aware that people are dying while they are "taking time" and getting "ready"? 2 Likes |

A $10m takeoff grant has been provided. If these guys are serious, and ready to do any meaningful job, how come the only money provided for the project, 16months on, is only $10m.... For a project of $1B!!! Where is the sincerity of purpose? 3 Likes |

YourWife: Remediation is way above your pay grade. Go to romance section. That's where you can make contributions. |

GavelSlam: Oga leave all this English, she says work hasn't commenced in Ogoniland. cleaning hasn't commenced in Ogoniland. mind you Ogoniland is not a state on its own so the OP can at least move around and see things for herself. you are hear shouting remediation, meanwhile someone on ground is telling you nothing has happened. 6 Likes |

GavelSlam: Yah yah... The regular "go to romance section" bull poo. Tell that to ur sisters and ur wife... and add kitchen to the list of places they should go to. They are among those women that have nothing to do with intellects. That'sthe major reason why you think everyother woman on NL is a Bimbo like your sisters and ur wife. 6 Likes |

fyneguy: Who is the illiterate here? Because one nitwit wrote remediation, you latch unto it screaming educated illiterate. Those of us who refuse to accept your (APC) lies, and have decided to look for the truth, are termed illiterates by you folks. Continue... That's what u were paid to do anyways 4 Likes |

GavelSlam: What is your problem? How does my not asking you to explain a useless term make me act like a bimbo? Something I can go search for online? Are you that daft? Well, I did not ask, and will not ask! And for the records, I am more educated than what you think. |
Re: Prof. Osinbajo And The Ogoni Cleanup Campaign by YourWife(f): 8:52am On Oct 29, 2017 |
MyNewJackeT: Don't mind the poo-brained nitwit. Has work started yet? The idiot is talking about remediation. The worst is that the so-called remediation the monkey-pox is screaming about is not even happening!!! I repeat, even if you are to construct an inland port from Lagos to Maiduguri, we will see a significant progress after 16months (if you are willing and ready to do the job). But NO! APC just want to, wish to, about to, we will, we shall, we plan to... Talk about all the FUTURE TENSES they can think of. 1 Like |
