1. Joseph was a dreamer, not a catalyst to someone else's dream.Gen37:5

2. Joseph possessed the qualities of humility and obedience. Gen 37 ;13

3. Joseph was sold by his brothers for 20 pieces of silver. Gen 37;28

4. Joseph was just seventeen years old when he was sold by his brethren to the land of Egypt. Gen 37:2.

5. Joseph had a heart of a child ( sincerity ), he told his brothers about his dream out of sincerity! Mathew 18:2-4. Gen 37:6.
*If your life is stainless, pure and sincere before God, he will cause you to obtain grace and favour from God and men* Gen 39:4.

5. Joseph lived a Holy life,. Gen 39:8

6. Joseph made God his first *priority*,,,,, not men,, Gen 39:9b. He feared God not man!!!

7. Joseph's single statement shook God's leg and to this end God stood solidly by him throughout his journey of life he said. *How could I violate his trust and sin against God* Gen 39:9B MSG. Gen 39:21-23.KJV.

8. Joseph loved God and everything was walking together for his good.,, remember, from being a servant to a prisoner *for the offense he never committed* yet God was with him!!!

9. If Joseph had not given the Pharaoh's servants the right answers to their dreams,,,,, who knows he might not be invited by Pharaoh' for the meaning of his dream.

Joseph was a dreamer, despite his challenges,, he never let go of the spirit of God,,, God lifted him up by the virtue of his gift (dreaming and interpretation of dreams). Are you using your gift Gen 40:12-13,18-19.

10. Joseph entered into trouble through *dreams* and entered into glory through *dreams* His brethren hated him and sold him because of his dream he told them about Gen 37:11 and 20. And he was also made the second in command as a result of Pharaoh's dream he interpreted. Gen 41:25-32.

11. Joseph was thirty years when he was made the prime minister in the land of Egypt.

NOW THIS IS MY POINT,,,

*Joseph was sold by his brothers when he was just SEVENTEEN years old,,, he became the second in command in the land of Egypt exactly when he was THIRTY years old,,, which means Joseph's faith was tried and tested,,, subjected to persecution and slavery for a good THIRTEEN YEARS. He never committed sin nor denied God, he was still a YOUTH and overcame all temptations that came his ways.

12. Finally Joseph died when he was *one hundred and ten years* of age Gen 50:22. Now this is the arithmetic,,,, Joseph's faith was tried when he was just (seventeen)17 till when he was (thirty) *. He suffered for (thirteen) 13 years.He enjoyed from (thirty)30 years to (one hundred and thirteen) 113 years which means he enjoyed for solid *80* years. Remember Psalms 30:5B,,,, Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning. ESV.

LESSON :Don't think God is cruel, rather he is waiting for you at the end of your *trials* and *tests* if you would make it out successfully!!!
