TEXT: "Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead."-Acts 4:2

The dead are those without the spirit or life, John 6:63; James 2:26. Prior to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, there has never been any one that died, was buried, went to the dead, and came back alive to the living, except him. No wonder the priests, the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees were grieved because the apostles taught the people about Jesus Christ who died, was buried, came back to the living, and is alive for evermore.

In Genesis 2:16, 17, God commanded Adam not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and that on the day he eats from it, he shall die. Adam disobeyed, by eating from it, Genesis 3:6. And Adam died the same Day he ate from the tree, Genesis 5:5. The Day of God is a thousand years, 2 Peter 3:8. This is different from the day of man, which is the twenty four day. God was not referring to the twenty four hour day, but the one thousand years Day. Adam died within a thousand years: he was nine hundred and thirty years old when he died.

Furthermore, when Adam died, he must have been buried in the grave, although it was not stated in the Bible. The grave became the place for the dead: all that lived, from Adam unto the time of Jesus Christ, including Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and also all that have done good and all that have done evil, when they died, were buried in the grave, Genesis 49:29-32. And they were all preserved in the grave, the place for the dead.

In addition, after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, all the dead bodies of the saints in the graves, otherwise called hell, came back to life, and appeared to many, Matthew 27:52, 53; Ezekiel 37:12-14. However, all the dead in the sea, and those that were killed by death, remained with death, including all that will die after the death of Jesus Christ, and were put in the grave again, will remain in hell with the wicked dead that were there already, until the white throne judgment, Revelation 20:11-15.

Subsequently, all that are alive now have the opportunity to believe in Jesus Christ, because whosoever that believes in him shall not die or perish, but will have everlasting life. But, whosoever that does not believe in him, shall be condemned to hell, to die again, John 3:16-18; Revelation 20:14, 15.

Where are the dead today? Contrary to the believe of many, the dead are no more in the graves. What is called grave in the Bible, is what we call mortuary today. What we call grave today, is what the Bible call a valley, an open field, Ezekiel 37:1-4. And what you will find in the graves today are dry bones and decaying flesh.

The dead today are in the mortuaries, were they are been preserved, until the hour when they will hear the voice of the Son of man, and shall come back to life. Those that did good, will raised unto the resurrection of life. While those that did evil will be raised unto the resurrection damnation, i.e condemnation to hell, John 5:25-29.

Moreover, the mortuary is what some scholar mistakenly call the memorial tomb. And again only the dead that shall be in the mortuaries when the voice of the Son of man shall be sounded will be resurrected from the dead. And this voice of the Son of man shall be sounded in the year 2133.

Jesus Christ is the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in him, though he was dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever that lives and believes in him, shall never die, John 11:25, 26. My question to you is this: are you alive? If yes, do you believe in Jesus Christ? John 3:16, 36. And if yes again, you have eternal life. Then you shall never die!

Do you not know that you shall not die? Psalm 118:17. You do not need to be put in the mortuary, as the dead, or in the grave, as the perished. If you believe you shall not die, then believe that you will be changed instead of dying or falling asleep, 1 Corinthians 15:51. Shalom!

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
