Barely months after sacking him, Leicester City made an attempt to re-hire former manager Claudio Ranieri. Ranieri, who now manages Nantes in France, guided Leicester City to a fairy tale Premier League trophy in 2016. He was however sacked after failing to keep up with the standards he set, with Craig Shakespeare taking charge after him. The Foxes have already sacked Shakespeare, and have hired new manager Claude Puel, but only after they attempted to lure Ranieri back to the King Power stadium.
