If you think people living with sickle cell do not live long enough well, I think you really need to see this. Today November 1, 1925 (age 92) we celebrate a mother, a grandmother, a great grandmother and most importantly a warrior Mrs Asiata Onikoyi Laguda. She was born in the same year as Margaret Thatcher and Idi Amin and now she is the oldest living sickle cell warrior.
