Yeah, thats why the only armored vehical you make is 50% South African

And, unlike Nigeria, we ensure that we have equipment BEFORE wars start

Yes, it did with procurement and training. My friend we have many many SA who are more brilliant and genious than any Nigerian would. We have the best pilots in the world and SA civil flying schools trained many Nigerians on how to fly planes and still continue to do so. In that case, I am really appalled as to who is the real dummy.

catfish,
-many of your gripen are grounded.
-your submarines are no better than cans of sardine under the sea.
-many of your pilots are too old to even fly a red kite.
-your infantry lacks training and discipline{which is rather obvious as they always stick their d_icks into anything with holes}
-your logistics lack maintainance
-most of your weapons are outdated, and even obsolete
-most of your soldiers are HIV infested{like i said,they f.uck anything with a hitched-up skirt or sagging trousers}
-you lack funds to upgrade many outdated equipments

- No, SAAF Gripen is grounded.

- SAN submarines perform good. Can sink all vessels found in sub-saharan Africa without breaking a sweat.

- How much is spent on training a Nigerian soldier and how it takes, compare that to the SANDF.

- "Logistics lack maintenance" what is that even supposed to mean? SA forces require lighter logistics. From equipment like the Gripen, Rooivalk, Rooikat to the Ratel.

- List our out dated weapons.

- HIV or whatever, a HIV positive soldier can be healthier than a HIV negative Nigerian soldier.

- SA upgrades its equipment all the time.

You can't substantiate these claims you're making, support every claim with a reliable source.

it has been reported that the nigerian military has recapture and liberated most of the captured adamawa towns during the past two days.the towns of gombi, hong, and pelia have be recaptured from the violent islamic extremist, boko haram, the military has said that more territories in adamawa, borno and yobe states would be recaptured as troops advance into captured territories.
You wouldn't have lost them in the first place if you had a powerful military, wouldn't you?

So, we have them and can build our own.

Do you have any? no, and realy with what laser designator will your alpha jets use?

So they don't have it?
The bloody Alpha jet can't even see at night. Operations are limited to day time.

First, you dont need 4th gen. You need a CAS platform that is rugged and cheap. This is the Scorpion

Second, the Scorpion is made by Textron AirLand, a massive multibillion dollar company that is not going anywhere.

Third, if your lawyers have any skill, the deal to buy them will include multiple clauses referring to complete life-cycle support for the platform.

Fourth, the Scorpion was not designed for US needs. Its in the same catagory as the AHRLAC. Target nations are those that need CAS and ISTAR but dont have the money for advanced multi-role air-frames. Nigeria falls squarely into that category.

Finally, you need them NOW. There is a war on and you have no CAS platform that can deploy precision weapons. Inter-state deals for weapons acquisitions can take years to get underway - for example we placed our Gripen orders in 2000 and the first batch arrived only in 2006, the last batch only in 2011.

hahahahaha look @ U if we want d best and d most expensive jets in the world we can afford it cos we r so fucken black crude oil rich country!
Secondly the us military budget as being monitor just of recent there r some military hardware that the senate house on defence is looking to cut short ,reduce and decommision . For example military canpaigns in afghan, iraq e.t.c with the airforce is bleeding d US goverment serious, they r looking into more cheaper, effecient and not compromising qaulity jets, it cost $24,889 to run an F-16 jet per hour flight mission now imagine the A-10 thunderbolt II to give ground forces corver for advancement, the thunder bolt especially is very expensive to maintain ! goverment of the united state is looking into the scorpion programme but, they r starting with air coast gaurd and if the scorpions perform why wouldn't them induct the jet!
So don't just open your mouth and Talk what u don't know - "http://archive.airforcetimes.com/article/20130923/NEWS04/309230002/Future-10s-uncertain"
And not only the US airforce ,the navy, army, marines and all brances of the coast guards !
Another example is the ahbrams MBT ; production as being shot down since 2013 to 2016 to save over $1 billion dollars.over these 3yrs period the older versions would be upgraded . These his simply because of high cost of maintenance ! So even if you have that much you don't just spend any how . You use ur fucken brain even the developed countries are spending wisely !

Shut up, the whole of Africa is inferior to SA in terms of artillery batteries. You keep on waining and waining about Indian FH77B which India has upgraded. Show us Nigerian artillery or else keep that mouth shut. India with their FH77B came to SA begging for artillery which is equivalent to G6. So, tell me was India stupidd to have ever made such a purchase?

As far as this topic is concerned we are not going to entertain you anymore. You lost!!!! Next topic please!!!

You finally surrendered ! Good !

Nigerian and India both have Bofors FH-77B according to SIPRI and with range 41km according to army guide and Indian army.

Unless you can show us that the photo Patches posted, is Bofors on a mountain high altitude with proof of exact altitude in metres or kilometres above sea level.....

Or else you shut up... CASE CLOSED grin grin

You cannot buy an Aircraft still under-development. We also expressed interests in buying the J-10b, have we gotten them yet?

I did not believe the defenceweb story, as at that time I knew the Airforce had placed orders for additional transport helicopters. And as such, wanted to see a credible source to substantiate the story.

Nigeria has placed orders for a substantial amount of helicopters from belarus and ukraine (up-graded with FLIR, MI-35 and MI-17 helicopters), and brand new MI-35M and MI-171sh from russia.

Previous orders for Russian MI-35M have are been delivered.

What I initially asked for was clarity.
FLIR!! FLIR !! FLIR!! FLIR!!!

That other blogger just made you aware that there's something called FLIR?

Well SAAF had FLIR cameras since the 80s.

Don't even trying make it as if it is something new and advanced.

Indian army purchased artillery guns from the best of the best in SA despite what you regard as the best in FH77B. However, I don't know why should we entertain you because you lost this topic long ago.

You don't buy a fighter which is still under development and untested.
SA did with the Gripen and participated in the programme.

That's why SAAF Gripens are different from other basic C and D aircraft.

4th generation fighter will take you over seven (7) years for any Nigerian trained pilot and navigator to fly and combat effectively with that machine. It takes time to master weapon system, avionics, manuevrability, countermeasures and weaponry of 4th and 5th generation fighter machines. By that time, insurgency would have ravaged your country.
dummy ,then how long does take to become a pilot frm a cadet/military school if it takes 7 years to drive a simple not complex scorpion jet ? Then it will take 21 yrs to learn how to drive an F-35 jet or jet its class !
Please show me citation that states so pleassse !!!

Basic pilot training take approximately two years where thence you will have to accumulate flying hours to qualify as a pilot. Let say that will take you more than a year to acquire necessary experience. As a pilot in order to become a fighter pilot you will require an advance training on the type of fighter you will have to fly. It will take you extra more on 4th generation fighters because of their complex system, a duration which can be estimated to two years or even more.

The G5 MkIII out ranges the FH-77B.

Also keep in mind Nigeria has no BB shells, no one has ever provided pictorial evidence of a Nigerian FH-77B with a modified double-buffle muzzle.

Nigeria bought the original FH-77B in the early 80s, when 155mm BB ammunition was still in development. The G5 and GC-45 howitzers were among the first if not first to use the type.
