the pic where you have GEJ is the army and airforce only.
The second pic contain army, navy and airforce.
The first pic is the Navy.

Dat simple.

The airforce and navy only have 1 camouflage. But army is different because they choose the 1 that suit the environment they will carry out operation.

I always have to take my time to explain everything cos u r too lazy to gather simple information.

I wonder how dull South African intelligence service will be.
I dont think she is south african.

The Lynx belong to your air force, your navy have NO SINGLE AIRCRAFT OR AIR ARM. Nigerian navy owns all her Lynx, AW 109, drones.

You say Nigeria has no maritime aircraft? What of NAF ATR-42 MPA ? Fool grin

Your T-craft is a small toy boat comparable to civilian boats, they are average speed inshore patrol boats, they don't go to deep ocean, your Namaccura class is a tiny 9m long boat classified as harbour patrol....you have no ocean interceptor like Nigerian Shaldag gun boats, let's not go back to old arguments, every eye can see your pathetic imbalanced navy.

Alpha jet is as much a trainer/light attack as Hawk jets, we both lack radar on them.

SIPRI records 18 Mi-35 Hind E and 18 Mi-171 terminator delivered to NAF 2014 as 36 fresh helicopters, add the previously owned Mi-24 and Mi-171, NAF flies about 50 combat helicopters, SAAF flies 11.

The Hind in Congo is an old Ukrainian version, not the latest 2014 Hind E that NAF flies, yet the old Hind did as well as the Rooivalk, so Hind E is superior. We have done this old tale before, no need to repeat.

Nigeria has hand held Ichoku mini drones, photos posted here many time with NAF demonstrating them. NA now has quadcopter Aeryon mini drone, first in Africa, photo will emerge later.

SANDF has NO SINGLE ARMED DRONE in service, so how will they crash when you don't even have them? NAF has them. American drones crash more than Chinese.

I wont waste time repeating Nigerian army list of amphibious armoured vehicles, we have dealt with that topic in detail here, Cobra, VBL, BTR, Sagaie, etc.

Stop asking people to list for you what has been posted here repeatedly or freely available on internet, it shows you have been defeated grin

SANDF is a dry land only army and therefore NOT modern
.

The Lynx belong to your air force, your navy have NO SINGLE AIRCRAFT OR AIR ARM. Nigerian navy owns all her Lynx, AW 109, drones.

Again, an argument based on technicalities

- Lynx was purchased for use on the frigates. All Lynx are fully operational
- No nigerian maritime helicopters are operational.

You say Nigeria has no maritime aircraft? What of NAF ATR-42 MPA
- Is the ATr-42 an ASW helicopter

Your T-craft is a small toy boat comparable to civilian boats, they are average speed inshore patrol boats, they don't go to deep ocean, your Namaccura class is a tiny 9m long boat classified as harbour patrol....you have no ocean interceptor like Nigerian Shaldag gun boats, let's not go back to old arguments, every eye can see your pathetic imbalanced navy.
- T-Craft has a range of 900km and a speed of 32 knots. It is a high speed ocean interceptor.
- Namacurra has radar, and a 12.5mm gun. It is a high speed interceptor

Again, you try to use technicalities to win an argument

Dont talk to be about imbalanaced when your "navy" is incapable of doing what navies actually do - fight wars!

Alpha jet is as much a trainer/light attack as Hawk jets, we both lack radar on them.

hahahahahahahaha

No!

Can Hawk deploy PGM's? Yes
Can Alpha jet deploy PGMs? NO

Can Hawk engage in missile air-to-air combat? Yes
Can Alpha jet engage in missile air-to-air combat? NO!

Does Hawk have radar? YES
Does Alpha jet? NO!

SIPRI records 18 Mi-35 Hind E and 18 Mi-171 terminator delivered to NAF 2014 as 36 fresh helicopters, add the previously owned Mi-24 and Mi-171, NAF flies about 50 combat helicopters, SAAF flies 11.

ok, you have "50 combat helicopters"

However, you have ZERO attack Helicopters.

SAAF has 11 grin

The Hind in Congo is an old Ukrainian version, not the latest 2014 Hind E that NAF flies, yet the old Hind did as well as the Rooivalk, so Hind E is superior. We have done this old tale before, no need to repeat.

Yes, and we provided pictoral evidence that it was the lates gen of hind.

Liar

You wanted to scam us to believe that the Marlin is going to be ready soon and give your SAAF BVR missile.

See, dude, DENEL cannot even afford the cost of developing the missile, they are begging for foreign cash partners to co-sponsor the project.

Your current test is merely like Nigeria test firing rockets at Epe site into the sea, we do that here too.

SAAF will have no BVR missile until maybe 2020.

THAT'S WHY ANY UNIFORM IN NIGERIA WILL BE LINKED TO MILITARY SINCE MILITARY HAS 211 DIFFERENT UNIFORMS. NOW BOKO HARAM IS EXPLOITING THAT OPPORTUNITY. WE HAVE SEEN THAT EVEN @HENRY AND HIS MATES ASK THEMSELVES AS TO HOW MANY UNIFORMS DOES INFACT MILITARY HAVE. THEY LOOK VERY CONFUSED.

Apart from their Gripen Jets, it's hard to see what is modern about the SANDF!

Pathetic hopeless grand pa military.

What is "modern"

- Datalink intergrated across all arms and intergrated into all systems
- Combat managment system
- Air-Defence infastructure
- Impi BLUEFOR trackers
- Heroin Class
- Valour Class
- Badger IFV
- Hawk
- Starstreak MANPAD's
- Sky-Sheild upgraded CRAM capabilities
- Milan-ADA ATGM
- Badger IFV

Do you wish to know more?

What constitutes an Airforce?

Nigerian Air force

Fighter Jets : F-7NI multi-role jets (12)

Alpha Jets (24)

L-39ZA (12)

MB-339 (12)

Total = 60

Helicopters : MI-35M Hind E (12)

MI-35p/24V ( 24 )

MI-17/ TerminatorISH ( 18 )

T-129 ATAK status : Unknown

Super puma (6)

AW-109 ( 12 )

Gazelle, Fennec, EC- 435 ( 18 )

Total : 90

150 platforms for Attack and Helicopters alone.

Pick up a book!

Age of the Hull doesn't constitute the effectiveness of a system. Both Frigate class ships ( NNS Thunder and Okpobana) has shown capabilities other African Navies can only dream of.

Dummy, you get dumber and dumber with each sentence, "banana clips" tapped together is a wide practice, it gives the soldier that feeling of carrying a drum mag under his AKM.

Not as much as getting whooped by hoe and shovel wielding farmers in the CAR.

1. No, hull does dictate capabilities. What do your 60 yeard old corvettes have that we dream of?
2. No, peasants do that
3. I could say the same about Boko Haram

Anyway, you have a more pressing, Gripen Pilot shortage issue to deal with.

- NNS Aradu is currently undergoing a Refit, she remains Sub saharan Africa's best equipped ship. In some Navies, the Aradu is considered as a Destroyer. On the other hand, we have all seen the technical details which prove beyond all doubt, South-African Navy frigates are obsolete and cannot be classified as modern.

- outside Ugandan T-90 Tanks, Nigerian T-72AV and T-72B Tanks are the most modern tanks in Sub-Saharan Africa.

- you(South-Africa) has 4GEN fighters, however, what's the use of 4 GEN fighters, when none (Zero) of South-African pilots are combat qualified?

You still also do not have BVR missiles, so one wonders why South-Africa has Gripens in the first place.

Nigeria flies 3.5 GEN Jets, with state of the art PL-9C missiles which out-range what you have in service.

- We have ASW Helicopters, "why would i need subs, when i'm a defensive force?". Our military is tailored to meet Nigerian current and future threats.

- Nigerian Air Defence system is more capable than anything South-Africa currently fields.

- Nigerian Infantry are the most equipped, best trained, operationally effective force in sub-saharan Africa. Over 30+ combat deployments since 1960 is no fluke.

Each Soldier carries, An AKM with 5 Mags, each squad has an LMG and an MGL.

- the SAAF fighter fleet is a MUSEUM fleet! You have zero pilots, zero fuel, zero technical expertise to maintain Jets you ordered for since 1999. The SAAF is akin to Comedy Central, with SAAF Gripen, C-130, Half-French, A109 fleets the source of all rib cracking jokes.

The South-African Air Force is a joke!

- Nigeria has 5 C-130s, 5 G-222, and 2 Boeing 737s. 10 Transport planes.

The SAAF depends on 3 C-130s for a over 1.2KM area.

- we have over 60 attack/armed CAS Helicopters. with the T-129 coming to join the fleet, if not already here.

- Fool, age of hull doesn't equal age of systems. The thunder and okpobana out-class anything in it's class in Africa. Fact!

- Nigeria has a defence industry that supports Nigerian needs. This is it's primary and only responsibility.

"We don't claim to be a major arms exporter, only to be rated in last place when assessments are done".

Here we go again

Henry120 parrots off the usual list of delusion of debunked statements

Henry120:

The country with the best military in Africa is Egypt, Algeria comes in at second, then Nigeria in 3rd place.

South-African systems are generally obsolete and are poorly manned.

Frigates = Obsolete( Technical details have been provided) and poorly manned.

Gripens = Chronic pilot shortage and lacking BVR capabilities

Tanks = World war 2 relics

IPVs/ MPVs = virtually non-existent

Subs = Poorly manned/ obsolete

Artillery = so few in numbers

Infantry = the oldest in the world/ poorly trained ( CAR perfect example)

Mokopa missiles = Broke and cannot afford it.

APCs = for a country that makes them, they have so few in service. Their troops, Special forces in the CAR lacked basic APCs.

Verdict : the South-African military is generally an ineffective poorly trained and inexperienced force.

Frigates = more advanced than yours, most advanced in Southern Africa. Obsolete compared to what? Data you posted waa destroyed in the SERETI commission. Only operational frigates in sub-saharan africa.

Subs = obsolete compared to what? Only subs in sub-saharan africa

Gripen = more Gripen and pilots than nigeria has fighter jets in total. Most advanced WVR missile in the world. nigeria doesnt have BVR EITHER

Tanks = more advanced than Nigerias obsolete t-72

Artillery = outrangea yours, more advanced than yours, can hit moving targets. Most advanced in Sub-saharan africa

Infantry = citation needed for age. Best trained in Africa (CAR example: 200 men v upwards of 2000, stop enemy dead for 13 hours, inflict over 200 casualties for the loss of only 13 men, enemy has to offer a cease-fire)

Mokopa missile: dont need it when we have the Ingwe ZT-3 - the most advanced ATGM in sub saharan Africa

APCs: over 1000 IFV's in service, 666 in active service 236 of the most advanced in APCs in Africa on order over 800 MRAPs in service. Special forces had Jackals (MRAP with BP armor) in Bangui.

Conclusion: SANDF is the most advanced, best equipped and best trained military in Southern Africa - with no one else even coming close.
