1. South African is commanding the MONUSCO deployment = 20 000 men (Thats TWO DIVISIONS)

2. The Tanzanian was a commander of the FIB deplyment = 3000 men (Thats ONE BRIGADE)

I guess Augubugugug thinks the man who was placed in charge of ONE BRIGADE is more important than the man who was placed in command of SIX BRIGADES

You are a complete and utter slowpoke, I know that a South African being chosen to lead the biggest UN deployment on the planet has placed you on suicide watch, but please up your game

mzilakazi:

Tanzanian is a junior (Brigadier General)

South African is a senior (Lieutenant General)

The Brigadier cannot be appointed to lead the whole UN force, only a brigade.

Can you see the difference now?

Yes, the difference is that AS AT TODAY TANZANIAN GENERAL STILL LEADS SANDF TROOPS INTO BATTLE.

See your shame, UN appoints Tanzanian army general to lead the only UN Force meant for combat in Congo, FIB. The MONUSCO troops were there yet UN still formed the FIB to do the fighting, and that is where UN refuses to allow a South African general to lead due to your legendary combat incompetence and C.A.R. Bangui cowardice.

So UN has put a South African general in charge of administration NOT combat, he commands the administrative work of MONUSCO, he leads NOBODY into real battle YOUR SANDF GENERAL WILL BE SUPERVISING CIVILIAN ELECTIONS, Tanzanian army general does the war job because they are trusted by UN to be reliable.

Why did UN not give SANDF the FIB leadership job to command combat troops? Reason is SANDF is not good enough to lead combat ops.

Show us proof that the MRAP occupants survived, prove it. SA makes bad MRAPs. Poor standard and overpriced South African products.

I had the same picture from instawebgram where the caption of the picture clearly stated the occupants survived. Now all of the sudden it has been deleted. I however understand that anyone can post and delete pictures on that website.

However, it does not need a rocket scientist to tell you that the occupants of that vehicle survived the blast.

You don't even know that the FIB commander who happens to be a Tanzanian is no longer an FIB commander. His contract expired and was replaced. Read and stop fooling yourself.

Professor has written.

General Mgwebi has an operator's badge and wings and is a member of special forces. Tougher than any of UN previous appointments.

I can see that the South African general appointment to the top position has hurt you so much.

Nigeria Wins Bid To Manage Belarus’s Satellite For 15 Years

Nigeria has made history in the global space technology market by becoming the first country in the Sub-Sahara Africa to manage a foreign satellite. This followed the emergence of Nigerian Communications Satellite (NigComSat) limited, the operator of NigComSat-R, the Nigerian Communication Satellite as the winner of a bidding process to provide In-Orbit test (IOT) and carrier Spectrum Monitoring (CSM) services for Belintersat-1 Satellite. This was announced by China Great Industries Corporation (CGWIC), a renowned satellite manufacturing company in China and a technical partner to NigComSat. The Head Public Affairs, NigComSat, Adamu Idris, who revealed this on Wednesday during a media parley in Abuja, said the operation will commence on 16 January 2016, the official date for the launch of the Belintersat-1 in Belarus and will last for a period of 15 years. Adamu said the bid was a keenly contested exercise between Nigeria and other bidders

So the general who commands 20000 men is not the commander?

Romsey is not the great battlefield commander we thought he is?

Wow, Augustus has reached new levels of desperation

Buhari has been beaten hands down and now is on his knees asking BH for negotiations over the release of Chobok girls. He admits his intelligence has no damn clue about the whereabouts of the girls and their health conditions.
