justwise: 100% in agreement. They were fair to him! Anthony Joshua is British but he keeps referencing his Nigerian heritage, so if they say he is British-Nigerian, they will be accurate. 1 Like |

DBestDoc:If he is doing Masters (in Public Health for example) at UK, what is the guarantee that he would be able to do housemanship at the same time during studies in UK? |

ocpaschal: Doctor-in-training is NOT allowed for a tier-4. visa holder. You mean he trained in Ukraine. No licence to practice yet, then the UK allows him to just do housemanship in their country? Besides, you seriously think he can simultaneously combine an MSc program with a housemanship? If I were you, I would follow what @ sgtponzihater1 has said, very meticulously. 1 Like |

@ ocpaschal I am curious why your relative has failed to come on this website to ask pertinent questions about his upcoming medical career. Why are you the middleman? Given that medical school programs are challenging and time-consuming, but your relative has graduated. (Thank GOD!). Why hasn't he or she finds it necessary to invest valuable time to ask questions regarding their about to start professional career? Just wondering. 8 Likes 1 Share |

starboychan: Thank u, I will do that And for those that want to do thiers Follow this advice It was discussed that for quick return of BRP and provisional license, 1. Disregard or discard or shred the pre-addressed nvelope sent with your form 2. Address your post to FAO Lee Jones Head of Vehicle input services DVLA Longview Rd Swansea SA6 7JL 3. Watch your BRP and PDL come back swiftly Tried and trusted; still works My person used it and collected in 10days 5 Likes 4 Shares |

lightest: See advice I’d think twice before sending my international passport or BRP to an address other than the one advised by the government. Just imagine for a moment, that something goes wrong. I’m sure Mr/Ms Jones will deny ever asking you to send your original id document to them. Patience is a virtue, but trust Nigerians to always always look for a short cut and shunt the queue, even when it’s not ‘necestry’. We just love to do it our own way, yet we complain everyday about corruption 6 Likes |

Ladies & Gentlemen (I hope I am able to say that in this woke generation of wokeness). I have a question, and I need help please. This is my scenario. I recently switched visas. My current visa does not tie me to an employer. I now have a job with the NHS. I know that NHS employees and their dependants are exempt from IHS payments. I wish to apply for my dependants to join me. Will they have to pay IHS surcharge? It’s confusing because eventhough I will be working in the NHS, the NHS is not my visa sponsor. Can someone help me get clarity, please? |

Josh121: After serving my 1 month ban, I haven't banned again - yet. The plenty hidden/deleted posts were posts where I was replying to some of the lies against me. Those were posts where I was providing rebuttals to the misleading information that I Insulted a moderator of this thread. I was merely stating my innocence - but the posts were deleted/or hidden. 4 Likes |

Aphrodite007: Thank you @aphrodite. I have been unbanned now. Thanks for speaking on my behalf when I was gagged and banned - with no right-of-reply. I am back now. How long that will last still remains to be seen. One thing I am 100% sure of, is that I will never get weary of saying/posting lawful and legal stuff. And, the fear of a ban will never, ever prevent me from making rebuttals when mago-mago is subtley suggested by any, I mean ANY person. My mama trained me to be honest, just, and unfearful. 11 Likes |

I guess someone was not comfortable with my rebuttals of the tissue of lies perpetrated on my person during the period of my ban. when my ban was lifted, and I saw that untruths were dished out to the effect that I Insulted someone, I was merely protesting my innocence. Hmmn, imagine been slammed with a £10k debt from your car insurance company early on Monday morning. Please any recommendation for a good insurance claim expert or lawyer? Person never make the £10k profit since getting here sef. Advise to new migrants coming to the UK and planning on driving with int'l Licence, please think twice before getting that car oo, do you really need it? Can you pass your driving test within a year of getting into the country and note that once you obtain a provisional licence it SUPERSEDES your international licence and according to the law, there must be a co-pilot with minimum of 3years validity beside you afterwards. Any accident or dent that involves the insurance company can result into cancellation of your policy, increase in premium and unexpected debts by the 3rd party involved. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Mamatukwas: My sister na so we see am o. It happened or happening to my brother. He moved here with his family late 2019 and as a family of 5 up north, we thought having a car was necessary now (probably wished we waited now ). He got his car shortly before the pandemic and got his insurance with go girl with his naija licence. As expected he couldn't renew or attend any exam for his practical exam due to cancellation and no date available and DVLA granted10months extension till October 2021 which he thought it will be sufficient to pass. During this time, go girl renewed his insurance automatically but unknowingly to us a Provisional Licence supersedes your international licence. Na so he lost control during that yeye february snow to go hit his neighbours car and then insurance got involved and its been one mayhem to another. They cancelled his premium and then after a while demanded the balance of his insurance and now we got bills totalling £9800 that they incurred on fixing the other car. The annoying thing it was just a minor dent to the fender and the car is a 2011 ford worth £2,900 (according to the insurance coy). So how they spent almost £10k fixing it is beyond me. 1 Like |

fatima04: Wow! Sounds like a bad break Yup definitely might be wise to get a lawyer or adviser involved, but even that one now won’t be free, sigh. Maybe he should have tried to fix the initial accident from his pocket. Na wa. Pele dear. 1 Like |
