mistel: but why? it was your choice to delete your accounts, she never asked you to, so don't expect her to delete hers. you should have assured her that nothing was happening. |

InsideOut247:OP before I met my husband in 2004,I was already working and making few dollars online. Before tweeter became popular in Nigeria I was already on twitter. I started blogging since 2005. So all these my husband is aware of and supports me. My blog,my Twitter and my LinkedIn,my page are very important in my life and no relationship issues would make me delete what I've managed to built over the years;no arrogance meant... 3 Likes 1 Share |

I deactivated my social media for my relationship last year, though for few month(less than half a year), but i actually enjoyed it, it was fun for me, she knew i did because of her, she later told me to reactivate it after sorting the issues that led to it, but I'm yet to fall in love with it(social media) again. |

Deactivating of one's accounts won't save your relationship so I don't think it's the right thing to do. If you want a healthy relationship, obsession with social media should be reduced to the barest minimum. Some people cannot just do without starring at their phones every now and then even when in the presence of their partners which is detrimental to the relationship |

Social media becomes what you want it to be to you. It can be a distraction as well as life saver. Anybody asking you to delete your account is suffering from inferiority complex unless the owner of the account is a he/shegoat then you can talk of deleting to save your addicted self. Social media where I get all my contacts, knowledge and ideas and you want me to delete it for what. |

Lots of attention seeking kids everywhere who don't know what should be priority. I have lots of very respectable people as friends who have become a success in their respective careers and they don't have any social media account. Have this made them less human?. Never!.. they are envied in their respective careers. But kids these days just want to feel important, they tend to veil their lack of real life success with flaunting on social media. Take away social media and you take away their self importance. They bask in the euphoria of the 'likes' they get and when some stranger makes some romantic undertones it massages their ego. They only want some cheap popularity. |

mistel:Come bro what are you saying? be careful who you take advice from especially on here... don't go and destroy your marriage oo. No one was there with you when you were taking your vows with her. This is something you can sit her down and discuss, afterall you're the husband. Which one is I am playing her game, I got 1 final play? |

if I delete my social media accounts, it simply means I will be bored because social media keeps me real busy and updated as an introvert, I don't like what I hate, so I won't delete it. Term it stubbornness but I do things that give me joy. |

It depends, but does it save a relationship? No you are who you are. That fidelity aspect is inside you. Except you train your mind to be disciplined then you can save a relationship. Secondly :: it's not advisable to delete social account because of a relationship.. Be considerate, your family and friends reach out to you and you are updated... If you most times ran into chat with immatured boys, or hell Bent disturbing individuals, you can block and select who you want to communicate with. Or you reduce your online presence which is the best way to stay out of trouble completely both in marriage and relationship.... |
