Arsenal Fc on Sunday, 10th August 2014 whipped league rivals Manchester City 3-0 to clinch the English community shield silverware.
Santi carzola opened the score sheet for the London side in the first half and the London side mounted most of the pressure in quest for more goals. Towards the end of the first half, Aaron Ramsey made it to the score sheet.
The beginning of the second half saw the Manchester blues trying to get something out of the game or possibly to equalise but Olivia Geroud fired the shot that broke the camels back when he made it three in the 62 minutes giving the gunners a comfortable victory over the English champions.
Though the community shield is of little importance, Arsenal's victory fires a warning signal to premiership rivals on their preparedness for the coming season.
