The Executive Chairmen of Local Governments (LGs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) across Lagos State have embarked on what seems like a political tug of war as many of them have disregarded and discarded the Secretary to the Local Government (SLG) and the Supervisory Councillors (Super) list authorised by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
BarometerNG can confirm that the Executive Chairmen of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA; Arogun Augustine Adeoye, Agboyi Ketu LCDA; Mayor Dele Oshinowo, Alimosho LG; Hon. Jelili Sulaimon, Ikosi Isheri LCDA; Engr. AbdulFattah Oyesansa, Mosan Okunola LCDA; Princess Olabisi Adebajo, and Orile Agege LCDA; Sunday Babatunde and others have held their inauguration of SLGs and Supervisors which is different from the one on the list announced by the State government.

However, BarometerNG can confirm that the Executive Chairmen of Oriade LCDA; Hon. Akinola Hassan Ramotalai Olarewaju inaugurated the SLGs and Supervisors as authorised by the State government.

Lagos State Government, on Thursday 2nd November, announced the appointment of Secretaries to the Local Governments (SLGs) and Supervisors for the 20 Local Governments and 37 Local Council Development Areas.
