Phyno has come out to drop the “rapper” title, to adopt the title of “musician” which allows him diversify his music, without criticism from the hip-hop fans. He said this in a recent interview with Hip TV. “Yeah, i blew up as a rapper, but before i blow up. I was a producer for up to 8 to 9 years, so don’t call me a rapper. Call me a musician, I know music. If i feel like singing, i will sing, If i feel like rapping, i will rap” he says.
